Weekend plans/randoms
I'm hosting a brunch tomorrow with a secret santa exchange. I have no clue what I'm going to make and am considering just making tater tots. But that might just be because I'm craving tots.
On Sunday, I am going to a one year old's birthday party.

Tonight watching the Pens/Rangers game with Man. I'm hoping the Pens win for me this time because I'm sick of Man gloating about the Rangers win last game.
Tomorrow cleaning the apartment. Maybe making pulled pork using one of the recipes posted because I have been craving it since all the recipes got put up. Nothing else planned really.
Sunday watching the Steelers and crying in my cheerios because they have far too many players hurt right now to make me feel like they are going to win.
I have a race tomorrow morning (I am not sure whether I signed up for the 5k or 10k but I'm thinking of switching to 10k if I'm not too lazy).
Then I think we may go to a movie or lay about a bit.
ETA: and a bridal show on Sunday.
HAIRCUT tomorrow. It's been way too long! I'm trying to space out my cuts more because my stylist's rates went up but I love her and want to keep going to her.
Then I'm going to volunteer at a dog adoption event.
Then a birthday party for my cousin who is turning 14 today. (Whoah, that makes me feel old. He is the baby in the family and he is freaking 14.)
Sunday......nap time. All day. I need it.
I think we're having people over for the Saints game. No plans other than that.

Thunder game tonight. I'm wearing my new over-the-knee boots. I hope I don't look too whorish.
Gym tomorrow morning, then work, then book club. We read Rob Lowe's autobiography.
Work more on Sunday.
I need to finish unpacking and cook lunches for next week at some point as well. And I want to eat sushi, too.
We're going to be lazy and watch the playoffs all weekend.
My random is that I went running earlier, and now my arms are tired. Bizarre.
Takeout and renting a movie tonight. Which is slowly becoming our ritual on Fridays.
Tomorrow I am getting a hair cut (probably just a trim) and then volunteering tomorrow night. We help at a soup kitchen once a month on a Saturday night. It is becoming increasingly hard to try to schedule but I feel guilty quitting.
Sunday probably watching football and relaxing.
No plans tonight -- like TSD we never make Friday night plans, and Fran is always in charge of dinner so I don't have to cook.
Tomorrow grocery shopping, then we're going to a party for our friends' son who has been accepted into the police academy.
Sunday Fran is making brunch, then we're watching football. I also have a bunch of things I'm planning to cook, and will go to the gym in the morning.
This is the first two-day weekend I've had in a month, so I'm not sure how I'll deal with cramming everything into two days.
Only thing we have planned right now is to meet up with some friends who have a girl Delilah's age and walk around the park followed by dinner tomorrow.
Other than that I should take down the tree and Xmas decorations this weekend.

Tomorrow morning I'm taking Caroline and my gooby self to the Y for a parent/child swim class. 2 of my neighbors are doing it with their girls. I have almost $200 in Target gift cards that I want to try and use, and C needs new shoes. The grocery store needs to happen too. Arthur has a bunch of work to do on our vehicles. We are exceptionally exciting.

Nothing special going on tonight. I have some work to do. I was pleased to find out that Lorne's schedule for the next six weeks looks to be about 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. I'm not so jazzed about the early part, since he goes to bed way earlier than I can, but I'm happy he'll be home for dinner and bedtime most nights.
Tomorrow is music class and probably cleaning and having Will pick some old toys out to give away. They got so much stuff for Christmas, we really need to cull some old stuff out. We've been talking about giving toys away to kids who don't have many toys, and Will is very concerned that kids his age will not have enough things and that he also needs to pick new toys, not just old toys that he doesn't play with because they're for younger kids. Will is a pretty sweet kid.
Sunday we're going to a birthday get together for one of Will's friends.
Mostly some chillaxin.
We are going shopping for our bathroom fixtures, flooring etc. We are going to look at paint. Mr. Winged has narrowed down our palette choices from his books.
We are going to pick out our TVS.
And our contractor picks are coming to meet with us and begin the bid processes.
Also, Sunday Dagger has a birthday party to go to at Pump It Up, which is one of those inflatable gym places.

I just snorted really loud.
taking Riley to the vet tonight for his annual check up and shots. Then coming home and going to bed, I feel like ass. Not sure what's wrong with me but I've been getting pains in my stomach and back since Monday. I thought it was just gas or something (I've been a little constipated) but it's not really getting any better and I've been able to go today so I would think that would make me feel better.
Working tomorrow, then watching hockey and football. no plans for Sunday.
