B&M Monday
I watched the second season of The Big C this weekend and all I can say is holy crap.
This weekend I planned to redo my resume since I was told it sucked (it's chronological) and there are a couple of jobs that interest me and my computer would just not cooperate.

As usual, my weekend just went by way too fast! But I got some running in and it made me remember how much I like running! :-p I am trying to improve on it by April, since we want to do the Warrior Dash.
It also makes it hard that this week is finally a 5 day week after the two 4 day weeks I had!

We watched the first episode of "Grimm" last night and it was pretty good.
While I don't really care much for LSU or Bama, I'm a little disappointed that I'm not going to be able to watch the game tonight since we have basketball games here again tonight. Oh, well.
Bill leaves for Vegas today and won't be back until Saturday. I'm really going to miss him but I've been trying to play it down because he's getting to go to CES (where they introduce all the new techie toys for the year) and he's wanted to go for forever.

I'm kind of back and forth on Grimm. I love the stories, but the show is really off sometimes.
I don't really have a B&M today. I didn't sleep well last night so I just want to sit here today, but with emails I got it's not going to happen.

Hey ladies!! I know it's been a long time since I was here. I left for PA the day after Christmas to see Chris and then I have been, and still am, extremely busy at work trying to get things caught up enough before I eventually put my notice in. I had a great time and definitely didn't want to come home.
Deepthi - Congratulations!!!! I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months! Coincidentally this (<--clicky) was the Amazon deal of the day today in my email. I don't know if the dates may work for you...but just in case!
Hey ladies! I haven't been around much lately. I spent my week off being sick. Of course that was after I taped and painter primer on all the edging in my living/dinning room. So I finished the project even though I felt like crap. I get the drapes back from the cleaners this week then I will post pictures. I went forma deep red to a buttery yellow. I love both colors, but now our room looks SO much bigger! Last week was just crazy trying to get caught up with work, and people in town.

Last year, the CES convention and the "adult entertainment" convention were in Las Vegas during the same week. All the media was calling it "Geeks and Freaks" week!

I can see how that might be how "Grimm" goes. I enjoyed it last night, but it was a little slow. However, I'm going to give it a couple more episodes before truly deciding. There have been some shows that I didn't even care for after one episode.
I am LOVING this chilly rainy day. Jack is out of school today (and next Monday), so we're cleaning house and watching movies. We've got some friends coming to stay with us tonight and tomorrow, and they'll be here after lunch. Happy Monday all around!!
RE: Grimm : We've never seen it, but think it looks good. We're pretty into "Once Upon A Time". The effects are truly crap-tastic, but the stories have been so fun.

I like it a lot! I'm glad I went in the fall when everything was really pretty though because everything is dead right now and there wasn't any snow until the day I left so it didn't look much different from here...except for all the mountains LOL. We didn't find a house so I think we are going to have to get a realtor that knows the areas and what we need, etc. I'm just excited and ready to get there!

I am addicted to that show too!! The first time I watched it I was so MAD, thinking "Brothers and Sisters is canceled and this crap is on air?!?!" and now I love it! LOL
Two other shows that we watch are on at the same time so we couldn't put it on the DVR. However, Bill's been buying them off of iTunes so we'll have a marathon one weekend.
Thanks for reminding me I we have a holiday next Monday! That will make this five day week (after 3 weeks of little work) so much more bearable!

I was irritated too Lacy and didn't think in a million years that I would like this show but after the first episode, we were hooked. I'm a little crushed when an episode is over.
You were right, Julie. I told Marcus was going to CES and he was pretty stoked that Bill gets to go.
We've been debating the same thing because DH is hurting so much lately and rotating doesn't seem to help. It won't happen anytime soon though.
I feel that way about most suspense shows that we watch. PLL, Lying Game, Revenge.
I DVR'd the Lying Game marathon that was on yesterday!! My friends all watch it and say they like it better than PLL. I watched the first three before I fell asleep last night and I really like it!!
Same. Mack actually said about last week's episode, "UGH! I need this show to be 3 hours long every week!"

Lacy- Glad you had such a wonderful time in PA. Who could blame you for not wanting to come home.
I felt ridiculous watching PLL when it first started but then I read the books. I like The Lying Game book too but I haven't had the time to finish it so I had to start over.
Confession: I still haven't finished the last Twilight book and I need to before the last movie comes out. I better hurry because I'm behind on all my reading.
