H and I are going up to the casino tonight and spending the night. We planned on leaving right after work today.
Last night at 10 pm, I realized that, duh, tonight is my first class so we can't leave till after that.
School is already disrupting my social life.
Mol, did you know you're a top 25 contributor? My mouse was hovering over your nesticles, and that popped up. Kasa (with one blue ball) is a top 500 contributor. Maybe you all knew that but this is news to me.
Had an AWESOME time at The Homestead.
We had a fire drill this morning. Brrr! Is it bad that I stopped to grab a cup of coffee and put on a new pot before heading out to the parking lot?

Morning all. I'm waiting to grand rapids city sewer to come and clean out our main drain today. It backed up this weekend and ruined one of DH's told bags.
Last night was my TV night. Once Upon A Time and then 2hr season premier of Downton Abbey on PBS. Love those shows!!
H's birthday is on Sunday. I need to get him something in addition to the pair of jeans from GAP I already got him, but I'm out of ideas.
It's a bummer that Christmas just passed, because all the ideas he gave me (which most were boring anyway) I got him then. Now I have to think of more. Not fair. :P

So I'm at work.. and got sucked into realtor.com. I've not done any work. But since my boss is in his office chatting it up like he's at home, I don't feel the need to do much. I should do some homework.
One of my FB friends was just raving about Downtown Abbey. I'd never even heard of it until today!
Your hubby and I are month twins! Mine is in a couple of weeks though. Any trips coming up? You could look for something fun he'd want to do on vacation and get tickets/make arrangements. This is kind of cheap, but you could give him coupons for stuff. Like a 30 min back massage, or making/buying a meal he really likes. Or a sporting event. Dec/Jan bdays are hard!
Its got discoloration and bumps. I talked to a friend's husband who is in the medical field. He is saying it's something called called harry tongue syndrome. It's where you have discoloration of the tongue, bumps, and feels like your both is leathery feeling. So I am going to watch it for a few days and then go to the doctors if it doesnt go away. I am sick of being sick. Blah!!!

If your like periods drama's you'll like this series. It's out of the UK and the season is only 7-8 episodes. It's set in the early 1900's. It started last season in 1912 and this season started with WWI going on.

We looked at a house this weekend, and I've been emailing back and forth with my loan officer all morning. Hopefully we'll be able to put in an offer soon.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new fridge and a new stove. Nothing fancy for sure but they will absolutely be an upgrade from my current appliances. My current oven has no timer, window, light and the oven temperature knob broke off. I have basically been guessing at the temperature setting. And with my new fridge I will no longer have to make my own ice!! I'll be living in the lap of luxury, my friends. Ice for everyone!!

Yeah he was sick but he seems to be getting better. As soon as he was prescribed the prednizone and took it for a few days, it went away. We ordered pizza the other night but it was not from Papa Johns. After we ate Papa Johns last time was when it started showing up. So...............

It sure is! I've found a few properties that look promising. Kentwood seems to have the leg up today. This changes everytime I look at the site. Ooh do keep me posted on the possible find. We are kind of in a rough spot. We both have properties over here with renters. I'd LOVE to get rid of one before we buy a house out there, but I don't see that happening.
Apt living isn't conducive to my noise sensitivities or to Bryan's love of loud game playing/sports watching. He doesn't feel at home in the apartment either. But I figure if we could find a house where the mortgage is equal to or just a little more than what we pay in rent, we can get a house this fall, and keep moving foward. Fingers crossed and prayers going up for that

Classes are ok. Hard. I managed to save the class every one hates until the end. Which is stupid. I should have just gotten it out the way. 1 week down, 14 weeks to go!
I did that (on a much lower level than you) too. I took all the fun, easy classes when I started college 10 years ago. Now that I'm going back, I have all the not so fun and a little bit harder classes left. It would have been nice (now) to have gotten those out of the way back then. Sigh. Oh well.
If you have netflix streaming they have season 1 or you could request it from the library. It will help you get caught up with whats going on. I think PBS may still have season one available for watching online too.
