I feel bad for Kim K. I mean, yeah, she shouldn't have rushed in the way she did, and you can say a million bad things about her, but Kris Humphries is such a farking douche and she seems like a sweet yet naive person.
Just me?
Re: Flammable Confession.
LEAVE KIMMIE ALONE!!!!!
Dude, yes! Lol' I love how his eyeliner runs. I have always wondered if he was under sheets in the bed when he made the video.
This.
Double This
Seriously? So if she came on TIP and said, "hai, I just married this guy I knew for less than a year, and I had serious doubts before the wedding, but I was getting paid for it so I did it anyway. We are getting divorced 72 days later. Woe is me!" you would say, "it's OK. You're so naive and he's a douche...how could you have known?"
No. She didn't have to marry him after four seconds. She could've learned about his douchiness while dating.

I feel bad for her because I can't imagine living that kind of life. I imagine a life where every move you make it recorded and broadcast would drive someone insane. She has absolutely no idea what privacy or a normal relationship are like. I know she did it to herself by choosing to become a celeb and not telling her family to shove it, but I think being famous for being you is one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time" things. I mean, she has no talent to sustain her fame, so she needs to keep doing more and more outrageous things to maintain the life she thinks she needs now. No wonder she can be easily pressured in to a bad marriage for the sake of publicity.
Then again, I definitely feel way worse for actual actors. There's no reason for those people to be placed on pedestals and constantly scrutinized. One more thing I kinda hate about society. Let them do their jobs and live their lives... just like you want to.
Watching someone go through this, Kim K or not, I know that it sucks. She is a real person. I'm sure she was looked at Khloe and Lamar and thought it would work for her too. I'm not saying she's not an idiot, but I still feel bad for her. At least she had the sense to drop his aSs like a hot cake when she did.
I just finishing reading an interview she did pre-split (shaddup). Let's just say she was pretty forthcoming about the fact that her life is storyboarded by her and her mom for the sole purpose of making money.
So, no, I don't feel bad for her. It's just part of her fabricated life.
Ever heard of Amy Osbourne?
It is entirely possible to be part of a famous family and not be an media-hog AW.

Exactly. How often are Howard Stern's children in the news again?
Kim K gets no sympathy from me. Even looking at this from the "career" perspective, there was nothing stopping her from having a well-publicized, over-the-top pretty princess wedding with somebody that she knew for more than 5 minutes at a later date.

Ok yes, that's true. I feel like it takes a strong person to resist the pull of parents in to the spotlight. I mean, look at Brittany Spears and all the other screwed up Disney kids. Or any of those poor things on Toddlers and Tiaras. If you want to make your parents happy and they want you to be famous you try.
I'm not saying it wasn't a really stupid decision. I guess I just feel sorry for anyone whose self worth is based on how many people are talking about them on the Internet.
Thank you for this!
I'm a huge Howard Stern fan... and I have only seen ONE photo of ONE of his three daughters. And that was because she was in a college drama class production and there was a photo of her playing her role. That is it.

This is like saying you feel bad for Jennifer Aniston because Ross cheated on her when they were on a break, or that you truly believe Wil Wheaton is an assh*le because of what he said to Sheldon.
Kim K is a role an actress is playing.
This is the smartest thing you've said in this thread.
Lol. I said it was flammable!
I don't feel sorry for Kim K in the least...but I am curious to know why Kris is a douche? I'm more inclined to feel a modicum of sympathy for him...maybe.
SSY!!! OMG How've you been?

This. This. A thousand times this.
The only "real" thing Kim K has ever done is let a C-list rapper piss on her in a video that she then marketed into a successful career for herself and her entire family. Everything since then has been carefully scripted and packaged for public consumption.
And on that note, I'm officially glad that I've never seen or read anything Kardashian related.
Please tell me that video featured R Kelly... I'm scared to think that there might be two "rappers" with a urine fetish.

Hey Girl!
I've been well! How about you? I can't believe your baby is 9 months old! Time flies!
I'm doing good and yes, time does fly. The little fart is getting huge. I can't believe I have to start thinking about his first birthday already.
I'm glad all is well in your world. I see you come up on the "people you may know" thing on FB every once in a while and I always wondered how things were working out for you. Stay well!

Yes, Howard is [unreasonably] is pretty well hated, but considering the time we live in (And how long he has been so hated for), I find it really hard to believe that his kids don't have even a few people just sitting around waiting for one of them to screw up, or trying to pressure them into selling their stories so they can blast him as a parent. They, being adults with free will (Just like Kim K), choose to keep their lives private. Hell, for as well-known as Howard is, how often is he actually in the news? Even being famous, and a person that people love to hate (Which is a media gold mine), he manages to keep a lot of his personal life out of the news.
Kim K chose to make a fool out of herself to make a quick buck. Her family may have had a hand in her reality show antics, but if she really didn't want to marry Kris in a big fairy tale production, she didn't have to, and I really can't see anybody faulting her for it. Like I said in my PP, she could have just as easily waited and married somebody else that she actually felt was right for her in the same over-the-top manner. She wanted to cash in now and play a bride, so she chose that instead. That's on her.
