Is to help me find a beach wedding dress. Probably not full length. And bonus points if it isn't a wedding dress. I saw something gorgeous at Anthropologie, but I can't find it on their website. I like off-white, lace, and boobs.

Not PR. We are getting married the second week of July, down in Florida. His family goes every other year for a week, and I don't want a wedding at all. I just want to be married. But his family does huge Catholic weddings. So at least if it's just immediate family down there, there is no real reason to do a Wedding with a capital W. We can just say, "Ah we wanted a beach wedding and this seemed like perfect timing."

My vision is me wearing something easy and cute. Vows, yadda yadda, and then we can all go out to eat somewhere that has a band and awesome seafood. Stay out all night and celebrate. Walla!!

Found the anthro dress. It isn't very pretty online, but it was stunning in person when I saw it last weekend. I just didn't have a good reason to buy it then.

I want to tie a sash around the waist and have a sparkly broch there. It's silk, so the lace kind of glimmers a bit in person.

The other one is cute, but more cocktail-y to me.

I wasn't sold until I clicked the close up. I totally believe that it looks better in person. I'd have to see the sash and brooch to be sold on those, but agree it needs a little boost to be wedding appropriate. but the boost might just be a great necklace, a birdcage veil, a great pair of heels, and a gorgeous bouquet.

Yay! I might go back and buy it this week. And do the totally bride-ish thing and order it one size too small. I need to check out the return policy, just in case I find something better. I mean, I am 6 months out and all that. I just don't want to go back for it in 2 months and it's gone.

You could get married in a white thong wedding bikini, and you'd still be sweating buckets in Florida in July.

We got married in Florida in April at my in laws. They don't own an iron, and I realized about an hour before the ceremony that my dress needed a quick press. My mom and I had to make like MacGuyver and employ a hairdryer. So, it's Florida, my in laws already keep their condo warmer than most normal people, I'm already a bit rosy between the time I spent at the pool the day before and the general nerves of the day, and now I have my mom shooting hot air at a long dress I'm wearing with a layer of spanx underneath.

Yeah, you could say I was a bit flushed in the first pictures:

Oh mouse! I like all of those except for maybe the third one(needs more boobs). The only thing about the one that we all unanimously love is hat it looks kind of heavy. I adore it, but it's maybe not beachy enough. P and I already had out first wedding fight. He wants white pants, white button down, white shoes. I didn't know I was marrying P Diddy. WTF, dude? You need a veil, too?
