why wouldn't she? He's the father of my son and his momma kicked him out the day he turned 18 and she absolutely loves him.

Honestly, what's done is done. All you can do it strive to take care of your family, and to provide for them.

thats really a pretty rude thing to post. really Megamuff, how is insulting this girl's choice in photographers going to help her situation at all? Just because she's young and new to these boards doesn't mean she doesn't have feelings! Geez, people on this site can be so critical.

To the OP - it sounds like you are making the best decisions you can for you and your family. If your FMIL can't play nice, avoid her until she can. She'll probably come around with time. If not its her loss. Best of luck with your bakery!!

Wow, you really kind of make mine look better, lol. You're handling it a lot better than I would, but I'm not the passive type. The only advice I have, which may not be the best, is to dish it back out to her. I don't tolerate anyone talking down to anybody. It sounds like shes got some real issues - does she have her own relationship? Is she married or in a long-term relationship?? Maybe shes jealous. If this had went on for 3 years in my life, I probably would have already been arrested for assault. I guess the "safest" course is just to roll your eyes at her... and make the snide comments back... or just avoid her.

I want to say something but instead I bite my tongue put on a smile and just turn the other cheek. She's just so much of a snob. She thinks she's better then everyone else. And she plays the pitty pot on everyone. she's in a relationship but it's never promising with her. She drinks more then the average American and is a real female dog when she gets drunk. Her relationships never last because she pushes every one away and is really sexist and hates males. But she loves to sleep around. Which is really mean but it's true. When she gets drunk she makes outrageous claims that the guy of the man in her life at that moment beats her when they don't. We've told her that until she can clean up her act she has nothing to do with her grandson me or her son. Thank you for the support everyone though
