Re: what do you look like?
While I'm generally pretty technically competent, I can't figure out how in the world to do a PIP... but I can link to my wedding photographer's blog, so that will have to work (sorry!). Ironically enough, even though they posted about 15 photos from the wedding, there's only one really good one of me where you can see me (with my bridesmaids), but I guess that will get the job done.
Then I guess if weddings are your thing, you can look at all the other pictures from the wedding they posted but they won't show you much apart from details and stuff.

But that way you'll know what I look like since I can't likely attend a GTG anytime soon, being in SF. I guess you can also see my FB profile picture in the Nesties group if you want to?
Beautiful wedding! I was a Four Seasons Bride too - in Vegas
Thanks - we were nervous about the FS Seattle a little bit because it was so new, but they were just the best to work with and I couldn't have been happier. DH and I keep saying we got so lucky that my mom suggested them (I didn't even know the hotel was built!).
I've heard incredible things about FSLV, too! One of the guys who reports to DH invited us to his wedding at FSLV, but it was 3 months before our wedding and DH didn't want to go because we weren't reciprocating and inviting all his reports (he has 18, so with dates that would have been an additional 36 people... not in my budget!). I was pretty bummed because I wanted to see what I could expect from a FS and I thought going to a wedding at the FSLV would get me all excited for mine, but DH said no dice. I saw pictures of this friend's wedding and it looked *incredible*!
Did the FSLV let you select your entree day-of? I know it's such a small thing but my guests LOVED that they got to pick their meal based on what they wanted that night, not what they thought they wanted six weeks out. They raved about it.
Thank you! Sorry I can't PIP. How does one do that, anyway? I have been trying to make my FB profile photo work but I don't think it is showing up here. Oh well.
ETA: I tried to post a pic. It didn't work. I give up. I'm just going to pour myself a glass of wine instead and start prepping for dinner I guess.
I didn't even know the FS was in LV until I started planning, ironically I had stayed at Mandalay Bay twice before and never saw the signs or anything.
Our wedding was at noon, so we served a really nice lunch. Guests got to order off of a little menu they had put together for us. The filet mignon could be cut with a butter knife. I still can't find anyone to replicate the wedding cake. The entire experience was amazing, from the room, to the service, I'm so glad I went with them and not one of the package deals at the other hotels and in the end it ended up being cheaper and way more customized then some of the packages.
yeah, what you were allergic to was probably the solution, my friend has the same problem. I actually switched to the non chemical stuff because they said it was better for your eyes and I like it, I also feel like my contacts last longer.

just getting online today! here is a non-wedding pic (well, it is technically, I was a BM here, but not my wedding):

That would be my vote! That is the problem for 90% of the people that come in with an allergy (we don't do contacts though). A lot people I work with us Clear Care and swear by it.
