Re: OL Tuesday
Dear DH-
My idea for our pre-TTC trip was just for us, not for inviting whoever we want. Obviously I'm having a hard time explaining the idea behind the trip and wish that you would just "get it".
Dear a solid night's sleep last night-
Since I haven't seen much of you since some time last week, it was nice to sleep all the way through the night.
Dear first day of school-
WHY? Why must you be here already?
Dear ladies from church-
I don't know why you've always intimidated me but it was really great getting to know you all this weekend.
Dear Boot Camp,
I missed you this morning, which feels weird to say. But Mack can barely turn because his back hurts, and I'm sneezing my face off, so we'll have to attempt a rendevous tomorrow instead.
Love,
Weirdo who actually enjoys Boot Camp Now... sometimes
Dear Bestie,
I'm so excited about your bridal portraits today, and I hope the front holds off 'til nightfall!
Love,
MOH who misses you
Dear yesterday's workout,
I am sad that I couldn't finish you! I don't know why I started feeling so sick/tired in the middle of you :-( Today will be better!
Dear Hunger Games book,
I really like you so far! It's really hard to put you down!

Dear Sarah,
IT'S SO GOOD! I'm re-reading.
Dear motivation slump,
I will defeat you.
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v123/magicwombat/?action=view
Dear Sarah,
Bill read all three from Thursday to Saturday and said they were very good. I know a lot of the girls here have said that too, so I guess I'll be reading these soon myself.
Dear A/C at Home,
No, it really wasn't that warm outside but, according to you, our house was at 80 yesterday while the A/C was technically on. Please fix yourself soon so that I can get back to the optimal sleeping temperature of 68. Five hours isn't going to cut it, friend.
Dear Bill,
Happy 38th Birthday!!!! I hope you have an easy day at work.
Dear BL,
So Glad you got a good nights rest! Did you do anything different?
Dear Nesties reading the Hunger Games,
I read them a month back and thought they were very good. The third book seemed like they crammed a lot in and was my least favorite. But overall a very good series.
Dear Brianna,
I don't know why people have left either, but I miss a few of the opinions on here. I was off of here for a few weeks during the holidays, so who knows what I missed.
Dear G2G Nesties,
I REALLY wish I could be at the G2G and book club this weekend, but I will be heading to San Antonio for a baby shower for my cousin and his wife! They are adopting, and don't have a baby yet. But we wanted to give them the shower now since it may be short notice once they find out they are getting a baby. But I'm so excited for them!!!

Girls who like Hunger games,
Do we want to do a G2G to watch the movie?? I'm so excited the movie is coming out. I was reading it from around the wedding to the end of the honeymoon. (When we were just lying on the beach
) It was great and the movie looks like it's staying really close to the book.
- Overly excited.
Dear Today,
Please go quickly I have important stuff tomorrow I need to get to.
- eager
Happy Birthday Bill
Michelle,
How exciting!
BL,
So happy you finally got some sleep.

Dear Michelle, I didnt do anything differently, I think my body just reached that point of complete shut down and crashed.
Dear Hunger Games Girls,
I LOVE those books. That is all.
Dear Hunger Games readers,
I loved the books, and I agree that the third was a little rushed. The second was my favorite. J is NOT a reader, and I convinced him to read it. He finished it in two days - which is simply amazing, because he said he hasn't read a whole book since junior high! He's already looking forward to starting the second one. After this series, I'm going to need more suggestions, because he could use some reading in his life on a continued basis!
Dear OMHs,
We could use some T&Ps/juju/whatever. J applied for a job back before Christmas, along with a couple of his buddies from school. Both of the buddies have gotten rejection letters, but J has not. He's going to call today to see the status of his application, so I need some serious finger-crossing for good news. I really want him to get this job, because it's with a smaller department that isn't too far from us, and a pretty "safe" community as far as policing goes. And, if he gets it, then it would mean he doesn't have to leave me for a month to go off to work!
Dear Penny Wall,
You are harder than I expected, but also cooler than I imagined! 10 inches done, one 50 more to go!
When is the movie supposed to come out?

Dear DH, Just because you spilled a cup of water on your laptop, it does not entitle you to a new one. You should be more responsible. And 1) close your laptop, 2) not leave it on the floor 3) watch where you set your cup and 4) watch what you are doing when you fling a blanket and pillow off the couch.
-Your wife who isn't budging
Angie,
Hope he gets it!
Sarah,
It's suppose to come out March 23.

Dear Brianna, I agree it does seem much quieter around here lately. Not sure why. I have been lurking more myself lately but I am here and when I feel I have something to contribute I do.
Dear BL, Glad you finally got some sleep.
I got a lot of baby related things done this weekend. I'll wait to share tomorrow during baby day but I'm so excited!
Same here! DH wants to see it, but I'd be up for seeing it twice.
Bio Good Times
Dear Hunger Games Girls,
I think that would be a lot of fun but I wouldn't be able to make it that first weekend that the movie is out. I have already promised the 23rd and 24th to the drill team and the 25th will be my brother's surprise 30th birthday party. However, I'm hoping to use Spring Break to read the books. Since you guys say they're quick reads, I should be able to get through them about as quickly as Bill did.
Dear Michelle,
I'm so very excited for your cousin. I hope that they get a call very soon. Can I ask where they are trying to adopt from? Just asking so that Bill and I can make some decisions for ourselves later when we get to that point.
Good luck to your H!
MrsLynch,
That's funny. My H also wants a new laptop -- but for me. I have no idea why he's so gung-ho about me replacing my (perfectly fine) laptop. Lately whenever I say anything about my laptop (like the antivirus software popped up so I have to let it run, or something equally inane) and my H is immediately like "you can buy a new one. It's probably time to get a new one. Do you want me to find you a new one?" I tend to use my electronics until they completely die -- not replace them when something newer/better comes out -- so I cannot fathom that attitude.
Nesties,
I've realized I'm terrible at decorating. Just terrible. I tried to buy curtains last night for a couple windows in the house that need them, and I picked everything just completely wrong. They look awful. I'm frustrated that I spent the money (and already took them out of the packaging and put them up, so no returning them) and hate the result. Any recs on websites to look for curtains (for a bathroom and a kitchen, so "short" ones)? I've tried BB&B, JCPenney, and Amazon and am so far not seeing anything inspiring. The ones I bought were cheap, plain white ones from Walmart that I thought would look fine ... until I saw them up.
Dear ladies,
What do you typically eat for breakfast? I'm looking for some new ideas that are both quick to make and healthy to eat.

Well, it's not the most healthy thing to eat but I have, in the past, made a breakfast casserole for the week (you can freeze it) and then reheat a piece every morning. I have tried making it with Egg Beaters and we couldn't get it to cook all the way through. In fact, every time I have substituted EB while baking it, I can't get it to cook it all the way through. I'm very frustrated with this. Sorry, I'm off task now. You could also try a peanut butter sandwich (half) and have some fruit.
It used to be GM's but now I make a chia seed oatmeal type of thing. You take 2 T. of chia seeds and mix with 1/2 milk (your choice of what kind. I prefer chocolate almond milk but I had unsweetened vanilla this morning and it was good). Let sit for 5 minutes. Then stir in 1 T. maple syrup (or less, depending on your tastes), 1 T. hemp seeds, a few nuts and 1/4 cup frozen blueberries. I have not experimented with it much and just stick to the basic recipe but you could use any fruit (I've had banana's before now that I think about it) and nut that you like along with whatever milk.
During our fast last week, DH made a mix of zucchini, tofu, bell pepper and tomatoes and sauteed it. He said it was pretty easy as you can mix everything together ahead of time and take out the amount you want to saute.
Marie, I've seen people dress up plain curtains with fabric paint or ribbon, maybe to make stripes at the bottom, or something like that... do some google-image searching and see if you can find anything. But, if they're from Walmart, you can just put them back in the package and still return them, if you don't want to do anything else to them.
I don't know the name of the agency, but I can find out for you. I know they did a lot of research to makes sure this was a safe, reliable, responsible organization.

Dear Temp, Why must you trash my desk every time you sit at it? Here's the thing: you come in, work, and then leave, leaving things as you found them. You don't unplug my speakers, trash my whole desk, and steal my 3-hole punch, mkay? Oh, and you've been reported. - Irritated Co-worker
Dear BL, glad you got some sleep!
Dear MarieSD, I am also not a very good decorator. I feel ya.
Dear whoever asked about breakfast, I already forgot--I usually drink GMs or a Slimfast but before I did, my favorite breakfast was a homemade Egg McMuffin: toasted (wheat) English muffin with a slice of canadian bacon, a scrambled egg, and a slice of lowfat cheese. Sometimes I would add a tomato. Yummy
Dear GM drinkers, today I cheated and used the chocolate/banana Yoplait mix with almond milk. Yummy. And it's so much faster.

Dear girl scout cookies-
No offense but I won't be buying any of you this year. My husband on the other hand, eh, maybe.
Co-signed,
Me
PS: I buy them, store them away to save them, and then never eat them. I'm not wasting money on them this year.
Dear Heater,
Yes, it's cold outside. My room is not outside. Please visit someone else who enjoys sweating at work.
Girl Scout cookies are evil. EVIL I tell you. I refuse to buy them. Ben bought some from one of his students however. I could have killed him.
