well i don't want to buy a super expensive one at first.. but i'd love to hear your advice! (i just don't want to waste too much money if i'm not any good at it.. )
Why ever does a blog have to be themed.. mine is about everything and anything!

Okay... so all to often people buy a super cheap machine that works like what it cost them.. crap!!!! I highly advise you not to buy a Singer!
You'd be better off buying one of the beginning Janome machines. Janome is a great quality brand and uses metal parts for pretty much anything thing can. More so than most any other machine out there. If you are looking for a beginner machine that isn't to horribly expensive I would recommend going with this one:

or if you want something with less stitch options (which personally I wouldn't go with, because if you find you do like it you'll want a little more funtion to your machine). there is also this one:

Once again, I know Janome is a great brand.. my mom has several of their machines and has always been very happy with them!

Like I said.. I'd rather you bought one that is quality v.s. something that isn't and then have you hate sewing because your machine is crappy!
