  • How is your weight loss/road to being healthier going?
  • Did you get my xmas card?

Overall it's been going well. The key for me is really paying attention to portion control.

I try to push myself to do physical activity whenever I feel I'm able to.. and it's been really frustrating, because I just can't most days. Then I struggle with wanting to just stuff my face, even though that fixes nothing.

I try to fill our house with produce and get it prepared so it is easy to grab and eat quickly.

I started new meds for my polyneuropathy and the biggest side effect is weight gain. So I'm kind of plateau'd Hmm right now.

And I loved it. Like a hug from Paula Deen herself.

Well, it sounds like you are doing everything within your power to stay on track.  That stinks that a side effect is weight gain.  Poo!

I didn't just cave and give up though.. and I'm sitting at 15-20 pounds lost the first month.

I know there's no way the rest of the weight loss will be as easy as the initial big drop, but it will still be worth the effort.

  • Has your opinion on Paula Deen changed in light of her "scandal"?

  • Is the new medicine helping?

At your last appt. did the doctor address your recent problems (not my place to mention here)?

I fail to see what's really scandalous about it, I guess.

I expect that celebrities will try to make money from their fame.. kind of what defines them.

The things I like about her are still the same.

  • Did you have kids when you first started posting on this board?

    If you did, why?

What do you think of me?

Is the new medicine helping? I'm still getting worse, but who is to say I'd not be getting worse more quickly if I weren't on the meds? You just have no way of knowing.

They're setting me up with a urologist to do some kind of pressure testing thing.. sounds very interesting. Also with a wheelchair assessment to get that ball rolling, since around here there are a lot of places you can't borrow a chair at the door.

  • imageStellarStaylor:

Did you have kids when you first started posting on this board? I was halfway through my first pregnancy.

If you did, why? It hadn't occurred to me that people wouldn't be able to talk about anything but bellies and babies once I got KTFU.. it was utterly depressing.. so it was nice to have some conversation about actual things each day.

What do you think of me? I think you're generally awesome and I wish you were around more and shared more.

  • If you were to actually shank someone, would there a specific type of knife you would prefer to use or just whatever is handy at the time?

And a religious one at that.

I hope you get a lot of education from reliable sources that are not religiously affiliated and whom you are not related to/have no history with.

  • You're pretty.

    That is all.

    Daily.

Although it really depends on who is around on any given day.

  • If you could have a super power, what would it be?

Is there anything specifically you'd what your kids to do before/if they had kids?

When did you lose your V card?

I am very religious. I'm also very well educated in child development. I know all about developmental milestones, child-rearing techniques, punishment vs. reinforcement, etc. I'm also very open minded, I truly am. I pride myself on that.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? I'd want to be able to change my appearance. I'd mostly use it so I never had to really get dressed. And then I'd be able to wear makeup and have nice hair too.. I'm super lazy about that stuff.

Is there anything specifically you'd what your kids to do before/if they had kids? Change their mind about having kids?

When did you lose your V card? 19

  • I think you are thoughtful in all the ways you think about people. Whether it be you send them a card, a random Amazon gift, or text them to say hi.
  • When people whine all the time, it's annoying.

When people are happy-go-fvccking-lucky all the time, does that irk you? Or is it a more-power-to-you type of thing?

Nice choice. I didn't picture you for preferring fixed blades, for some reason. Rather efficient choice though. :)

Third, although in my early days I may have been terrified of you.

What would your dream job be, if you were able to work?

    Party Planner

What did you study in school?

Just general stuff - I took a lot of foreign language, math, psychology kinds of things.

How old were you when you were diagnosed?

Diagnosed.. probably around 18ish? It's hard to remember now. I was sick for a long time before they figured out what was going on.

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

I don't really care where. I'd just want to be surrounded by fun people who would do things. Maybe Omaha.
