ETA: Speaking of, WHY are there always Bump ads on the right?! I thought they apologized for that earlier?

Because the Nest/Bump are in a conspiracy with my in-laws to pressure all newlyweds into having babies... "Oh, you're married, you need a baby NOW!!!"

I completely agree with Angie that babies are everywhere, and I'm excited & happy to see everyone's announcements and baby pictures, just like how I love seeing new brides' wedding pictures. But this is not a baby message board so I don't want to hear about baby things every day. Just like how even though I like to see pictures of Cadence, I would not want to hear what she's done/eaten/pooped out every single day. (Sorry Brianna :) ) Also, it's just like how I make sure not to talk about my doggies every day even though I love them like they're my children and would be happy to talk about them constantly. I'm just asking for some restraint/moderation please.

Haha, it's okay! I don't want to share every time she does any of those things either!  :)

LMAO.  Thankfully, the only family member who has said anything has been Bill's grandmother and all she said was, "You two aren't spring chickens.  You need to get on the ball."  I thought it was funny.  I laughed.  But Grandma likes me.  Now, if my MIL had said it, I probably would have left in tears.

  • By the way, Bill showed me a very interesting dress last night.  It was a g-string wedding dress.  I'm at school so I really shouldn't post a link to it or a picture but I hope you all enjoy taking a peek.  It was interesting to say the least.

**Please don't blast me for rarely posting and now having an opinion.**

Not allowing pregnancy talk on a married site is like not allowing anyone with a wedding budget over a certain dollar amount to post on TK because it may upset people with smaller budgets to hear about your lavish dress, flowers, venue, etc.

Sorry this is so late, but I decided that I have to comment on this. I think this might be the worst analogy ever. Comparing not being able to have a child or having a miscarriage to not being able to have an expensive wedding is an incredibly insensitive thing to say and is in no way correct. I can't even begin to describe the huge differences of the two.
