Toddler's cuss word on 'Modern Family' draws ire
Re: Toddler's cuss word on 'Modern Family' draws ire
I see no problem with this.
But then again, I have a 2 1/2 year old myself. The kid is a parrot and I curse like a sailor when I'm driving.
Actually, that Modern Family episode sounds like the exact story that happened to me as a child. I was a flower girl in my aunt's wedding and apparently I dropped the F bomb at the wedding, in front of a room full of my Uncle's puerto rican relatives (they didn't speak english, but they knew THAT word). When I was around 18-19, I went to Puerto Rico to visit my aunt and uncle and his family all still remembered and teased me about it. I think every single one asked if I was the F girl when I introduced myself.
No, I don't like when kids swear, and no, I won't swear in front of my kid when she's old enough to mimic me (right now, H and I still curse like truck drivers, but we're working on it). But the kid in the show wasn't "made" to swear and this is a COMEDY based on things that happen in real life all.the.time.
Damn, you beat me to it. You'reaf-cker.
