Re: Good (Monday) morning!
Back from the blood draw. That was not fun. Poor guy. His screams broke my heart, and made me burst out crying too. They couldn't get enough blood, so we have to go back in a few days. Great.
But my brother will be here in 3 1/2 hours!
Now off to figure out what to make for dinner. Anyone have anything especially yummy lately?
Annnnddd by good mood just went down the tubes. I just discovered a big error at work. It's fixable, but it's relating in a lot of lost time.
Also, I want to murder Excel.
I wasn't hungry -at all- at noon, so I skipped going anywhere for lunch.
That's quickly turned out to be a bad idea.
we have a pay as you go snack drawer that tends to get raided whenever I try to do that!
This is why I keep a food hoard in my locker.
Icanhascheezburger always used to to do it for me.
Vending machine to the rescue. 1 apple, bag of pretzels and a bottle of water later and I'm feeling good. 90 minutes till dinner.
I need to either a) bring lots of snacks to work for the next 9 months, b) always have change handy, always or c) both a and b, just in case.
I got good about those things when I was pregntant with T. Time to get back in the habit.
Yes, I did mention that. Good to know. My undergrad degree was HR management and I like the subject area--I like all of the compliance stuff and the laws are really complex, which I think I like. My only hesitation is that I haven't actually taken any LEL classes yet. Tomorrow I have a meeting with an LEL atty for an informational interview--very exciting! I think his work is more "labor" focused than "employment" focused, though.
