UW - when I saw your second picture I thought "wow they served hot dogs - that's awesome."
this is from my cake lady's fbook....it doesn't show it clearly, but it was two tier, and between each layer had gold ribbon, and it's on a thick gold cake stand.

We had a whipping cream cake, so we kept it in the fridge until just before cutting the cake. I'm not sure what our baker used for the chocolate but it wasn't fondant.. it was some sort of actual stiff chocolate that wasn't hard.

Our wedding was just us, our parents and our siblings - 10 total. The cake was awesome!

We had a cake. I don't have a picture on this computer, but it was 3 square tiers frosted and decorated with white frosting -- each tier had different decorations (i think one was stripes, one was dots and i don't remember the other one).

Our cake was wonderful. It was exactly what we wanted and my step-mom made it.
The yummiest cake that I forgot the cake topper for, but whatever.
