Oh, chix and noodles was when I first came to the Nest! I'd give anything to read that post again.
I believe it went like this: OP's aunt/uncle invited her family (parents, her and sister) to dinner. She wanted to know if it was okay to dictate the menu to them since they were in the habit of cooking gross food, like chix and noodles, and if it wasn't okay to do that, would it be rude of them to just bring their own entree because OP and her sister were only used to the finer things in life, including eating haute cuisine like cubed steak.

I wonder how many years ago that was. (Scary that some of us have been here/posting that long!)
I ducked out before it all went down, but from what I can tell, yankeebaby had posted FORVER. Everyone knew her backstory, she was witty, blah, blah, blah. There were people who were getting their photos stolen by a troll who would use a barely different sn (for example, they would post as BetttyBookworm) and steal siggies and photos and it was crazy. There was back and forth between yankeebaby and this troll about who yankeebaby really was, yankeebaby would throw out personal info- "PM me and I'll send you my bar number (she claimed to be a lawyer)"
Anyway, I'm not sure exactly how it ended, only that it turns out yankeebaby was a complete fraud. She had exchanged baby gifts and all of this with other posters and there was a lot of crazy surrounding it all.
Ha ha ha. Uh, yeah, I remember that.
Holy crap. Is this the same yankeebaby who would post on P&CE from time to time? I always thought she was awesome.
