I know your heart really breaks for this kid, and you really love him. I really love him, too. But letting him get away with doing half the work in any class (not just honors) is no way to bring him up to an acceptable level of achievement.

Dear Nesties,
Please pray for some friends of mine. One of our dear family friends died in the night, completely unexpectedly, in his early 50s. He leaves his wife and two young sons, one of whom is in the youth group Mack and I have been leading for the last 6 months. My heart is absolutely broken for this sweet family, and it really drives home that we never have a clue how much time is left.
I'm so sad today.

Dear OB, you said that Benadryl would help with all the itching. It didn't! I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and look like I have been clawed by a mountain lion. Plus I'm so out of it because of the Benadryl. When I call today please don't act like I'm bothering you! I can't stop itching!!!

I've had the itching issue lately and Cortaid helps a bit. I almost gave Serna Anti-Itch lotions a try this weekend but I didn't want to dish out that much dough.
Its not but while I was laying awake sleeplessly last night I started thinking about what is better/worse for my overall health, not sleeping for nights on end and constantly being exhausted or a med that helps me sleep and feel better mentally.
I had some major itching on my hands before Christmas and got some Philosophy Peppermint Lotion. It cools and stops the itching pretty quick. I know it's a little pricy but, if you can swing it, it might help you out. I bought a small thing of it at the Sephora in Southlake.

Dear Boss and Boss' boss-
a. I find it ridiculous that you insist that everyone needs a copy of a report I do daily. They just pile up in their box and end up in the trash can because they are too lazy to toss it in the recycle bin on the way out of the room. It's a waste and I liked the way we did it before, not that my opinion matters.
b. I think it's utter BS that you want to start a crap storm because I asked off for 1 hour in the beginning of last semester but it's okay for someone else to take a week long vacation during our busy time 2 semester's in a row and next August, it will be 2 weeks during an insane time for us.
c. Feel free to approve my vacation request for December anytime.

Ron Paul was definitely in the lead and I agreed with him on everything except individual rights. Newt was second and the other two got 1's or 2's in everything.
Dear training this morning, Thanks for potentially turning my work-world upside down. I am not a fan of these new rules! I am also a bit bitter over having to get up an HOUR earlier than normal - but at least there was yummy breakfast! But now I haz teh sleepies.
Dear J, I think it's crap that because your dad is the world's poorest planner, you're even considering helping him out this weekend instead of coming home for a few days (even though it's nice of you to help him when he needs it)... that'll mean the I have to go 4 weeks on a sleepy goodbye kiss that I expected to just be for a few days. I know it's a bit selfish, but I am not very happy about this. Please just come home like you originally planned!

My numbers were very close (73, 70 and two 69's--insert your laugh here). However, I think I knew that I would probably be a Newt. Like I said over on the TK, they all appalled me on the last two issues, but I don't think I could stomach voting for Obama based on two issues alone.
There were a few answers throughout that I clicked strongly disagree after the first few sentences. Like the one guy who said that he wanted to set the tax rate now for the rest of time. That's completely unrealistic. And, while I get that it's part of healthcare, their responses about medical malpractice made me raise an eyebrow. I'll tell you what, if I have a doctor who kills my husband on the table due to being drunk, not having the knowledge, etc, you bet your butt I'm going to sue.
