Re: I am so angry about this
Meh its very sad. I just don't get anger.
I'm just going to sit here next to Angie.

I guess I sort of think pretty poorly of the friend tossing out this information at the office for people to be enraged over without all the details (she doesn't have all the details, no one does).
I don't have all the details. I don't really want them. I just find it unbelievably sad.
And clearly casting her "friend" in the worst possible light. If NEY made me sad for young women getting married and having babies too early, our stint on Relationships has made me sad about how many women will publicly bash people they call "friends." That may enrage me.
This makes me sad too.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
Indeed, but I try not to judge people who are likely dying using 3rd removed details.
Do FB friends count? Because I am FB friends with people I would not call actual friends and have definitely been guilty of making fun of some of that. It's really more a collection of "people I know" than friends.
Nah, FB friends don't automagically make someone a real friend. That's safe.

First of all, I am not sure why you equate anger with enraged. Those are two very different emotions. Both lanie and fallin are repeatedly saying I am enraged over this. Maybe you define emotions differently, but I certainly think there is a big difference between those two.
Secondly, I am not sure how you make the jump that my coworker was bashing her friend. She was sharing information about her, but not in a negative light in her eyes. Like I said, she is a friend as well. I mention her as coworker just to illustrate that this was something we just spoke about now, which is why it was on my mind. But this was a friend sharing with another friend the details of a condition that worries her. She is not angry at the friend. She is sad and worried.
I'd say no, but if it's someone you hang out with and called your friend (and if it's a BM, like many of the ones people complain about here), then I think bashing them on the internet, or to co-workers, or to people who don't like them doesn't reflect well on you.
Dude. Your OP used both "so angry" and "just enraged." I'm quoting you.
Maybe the rest of it is your interpretation of the info your co-worker shared but talking about this women in terms of a "rich girl" neglected by her husband who "defines herself by being a mommy" and being "willingly ok with orphaning" her kids sounds pretty bashy to me.
lol. did I use enraged? ha. oops. I have a flair for the dramatic sometimes. It goes back to that WINGED SMASH joke I make. I guess I should be a little clearer about my true emotions sometimes instead of trying to be funny.
But all of those are my interpretations. They are bashy. But they are all my bashy.

Even I knew were you were coming from and the feeling. Of course I don't quite know EXACTLY how you feel about this co-worker but you know. She seems to have some serious mental issues to go on and not just get pregnant but to GO ON with it. I pray that the mother comes out alive for the sake of her children
Deep, deep shame.
OMG! Are you pregnant?

HA! No.
In my town of Stepford, this is the norm. Strollers passing my store have stadium seating. I'm like a pariah with an only.
But she insisted she wanted another child. She is a rich girl with a husband who neglects her to work running his company 24/7 and defines herself by being a mommy.
As a lurker, you seem to be obsessed, with the, what did you call it a few days ago? Oh, yeah. The richey-rich.
You and MadameS, love to brag, don't you?
