Where did you go to college?
Miami University, Oxford, Ohio
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural?
Large school in a small town
Did you live on campus?
Yes
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways?
I dropped out of sorority rush. My dad was having heart surgery that week. Too much stress. I didn't miss it. I had a pretty active social life
Best college memory?
Too many to list...I did a study abroad program that I loved. Met some of my best friends and had a blast with them.University of Dayton (Dayton, OH)--GO FLYERS:)
Medium (10-15k student population with grad students), suburban setting
Lived on campus, or just off (university owns most of the houses around the campus, so even once you're out of the dorms, you're still kind of on campus and in campus housing)
Involved in non-greek activities, mostly campus ministry and Model UN...only about 20% of the campus was in the sorority/fraternity world
Christmas on Campus--yearly event that included bringing city school kids on campus to participate in a big fair, followed by a campus-wide Mass. Really cool to see "tough" college boys taking little kids around to play games...awesome to see all the decorations that people did and just soak in the community feel.
Where did you go to college?Colorado State
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? Big school but in a smaller town (that loved the college students)
Did you live on campus? only my freshman year
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? I was in a sorority but got more involved in things within my major by my junior year and did not stay active with the sorority.
Best college memory? I am not sure I have just one. It was a great place to go to school and I loved my time there. Probably all the skiing was my best memory. And, some of the road trips.Where did you go to college? - University of Cincinnati
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? - mid-to-large. Urban
Did you live on campus? - I did, with co-ops it was easier to live in on campus apartments then to try and find leases for 3 months.
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? - I wasn't involved in a sorority but I did participate in one of the club sports
Best college memory? - Spring Break trip with girlfriends to Italy. I still look back and smile from that trip.
Where did you go to college? UVA
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? big, kind of rural
Did you live on campus? Yep all four years, it was the best deal and easiest for a person without a car
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? Not too much, I did recruit for the football team one semester, it was a blast. I worked 20 hours a week waiting tables, so between work, classes, and schoolwork, I was too busy to involved in other activities.
Best college memory? Studying abroad in France was an amazingly awesome experience, specific memory - freshman year, we camped out for the Duke football game for 8 days, then amazingly won and rushed the court!

Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? Big campus (30K) in a medium-sized town, although there wasn't much to the town without the campus . . . I think they all kind of hated us though
Did you live on campus? Freshman and sophomore year, yes. Then I moved to off-campus housing with some roommates
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? Not at all, actually. Never wanted to do a sorority, and mostly just hung out with my friends/long-distance boyfriend at the time
Best college memory? School-related, it was probably my senior year when I was taking an international environmental policy class. When I came in on the last day, my professor told me (and a few other people) that we had done so well in the class and on the final paper that we didn't have to take the final exam, and we'd all be getting A's. Woot!TTC #2: BFP 12/17/11, m/c 1/7/12 and D&C 1/12/12

Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? nope. i mostly drank my way through collegeBest college memory? i didn't love Cortland, which is ultimately why I left - it was waaaay too jersey shore for me (i like to watch it on tv, but i didn't want to live it)... Niagara was the best - my favorite memories are the ones when my bffs had huge parties and all our friends from home would come up. that happened about twice a semester. So much fun.
We make the rockin' world go 'round.

Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? Started sorority rush twice but dropped out both times because I couldn't commit to the time and money involved.
Best college memory?
I have a lot - I really enjoyed college. Back in the day, the free concerts at Art Attack were awesome. Winning the NCAA B-ball championships and running downtown to "riot" with everyone was pretty unforgettable. Probably the best memories are the silly, drunken you-had-to-be-there kind.Where did you go to college? JMU!
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? fairly big (15k when I was there), quite rural (but I loved being in the Shen Valley)
Did you live on campus? two years on, two years off
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? No sorority. I was in band (marching, flute choir, concert, quintets), in Madison Dance (club), English honor society (the Greek letters of which were regrettably STD), and Habitat for Humanity (publicity chair).
Best college memory? all of them?though I'm particularly fond of skiing down the modest slope of our backyard at 2:00 a.m., a band trip to Greece over NYE, a St. Patty's Day that didn't go according to plan, studying abroad in London, oh, and meeting my husband

Did you live on campus? only freshman & sophomore year
Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? i was in a bunch of art geeky clubs/groups: diversity in the arts, matrilineage symposium, took photos for our weekly school newspaper (we also had a daily one but i was not about that kind of commitment)
Best college memory? too many drunken antics to remember! watching friends and the rest of the thursday night tv with almost our entire dorm floor freshman year was always fun.
Where did you go to college? Smith College
Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? Small women's college in a small funky city in western Massachusetts.

Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways? No sororities at Smith, but I was super, super involved in campus life. Varsity athlete all 4 years, captain of the swim team, president of my house junior year, head resident of my house senior year, and so on and so on. I don't know how I found time to do actual schoolwork.

Best college memory? One of the major events every year was called "Songfest", where you created an original musical production covering songs that fit around a theme. It was always fun, but senior year H and I were in charge of our group (my sorority, his frat and another club) and really rocked it. At the end, our group won the competition and we were awarded the Director's Award for the best individual contributions as well. It was a good mix of friends/ fun/ recognition for hard work.Stand up for something you believe in.
Huge State university. Like, 40K+ undergrads.
I lived on campus for 4 years, in a sorority house for one year.
I was in a sorority for 2 years, worked for res life for 2 years, was on the crew team for 2 years, and was president of the honor society for my major. I also worked on and off campus at a variety of jobs: med school library, cafeteria, a genetics lab, etc.
Best memory - Probably my entire sophmore year. It was both the best and the worst year of college, at the same time. Me, BFF, and our other BFF had A LOT of fun that year... we basically sat in our dorm room the entire semester. I severely sprained my ankle that semester, was on crutches for weeks, and barely left my room. LOL.

Best college memory? I met my DH at a Halloween costume party at his fraturnity our freshman year...he was not my date but I ended the night with him and we've been together ever since. And then there are too many other shinanigans (drunken & otherwise) to count that came out of those 4 years. Met some of our best friends there and we all still get together at least once a year.

Was it big/small, urban/suburban/rural? Small school in beautiful rural setting about an hour from Syracuse

Were you in a sorority or involved in campus life in other ways?
No sororities available at our school, it was an all women's college (except for night school and the radiology program because that used public funding by using local hospitals). We had a lot of volunteer work that we did in the area - visiting old folks homes and helping take them out, arrange dances for them etc.
Best college memory?
My science friends were pretty awesome and we did camping trips to the site where we would isolate bacterial viruses from the local streams. I am not a big camping fan but the hiking was awesome there on the mountain. Also we would go to a state wide conference to present our research findings and the parties that night were pretty fun.

Best college memory? Getting engaged!! Yes, I was young (only 20). DH popped the question on stage at our homecoming dance in front of the whole school! He had to get special permission and his plan spread around school without anyone telling me. One of the best nights of my life.

It was a major university but not a big 10 school
Nope, lived at home with parents until I was 21 and then got an apartment with a friend of mine - actually it was a campus website for peeps looking for roomates. We became roomates and she turned into one of my best friends.
