Hi ladies! I have been sad since I have not been able to get on during the day this week. How is everyone??
We are good here...just busy! Tonight Noah is hanging out with daddy in the pole barn while I get stuff done in the house. I love my husband for that!
I cannot seem to remember I wanted to change my screen name and keep logging in as amachuta. I may have to ditch this idea.
*****Can you see me in 3D???????*****

.

Re: Evening randoms anyone?
We had a friend post this on FB tonight (and we know it is directed at his wife)t:
I can't keep doing this! I am tired of feeling like I do all the work! I'm tired of me giving and giving and not getting what I need in return! I feel like it is one sided!
Maybe it is just me, but shouldn't you keep your marital problems off FB???? The writer of the status update is coming over to hang out with DH tonight. DH is going to gently tell him his opinion and try to give him some mature advice.
Yum...I love Barefoot wine. Yummy, but easy on the pocket book. I think I am going to drink some Pinot Grigio tonight.
Agreed. Posting those kinds of things on FB is completely immature IMO. Here's a thought....talk to your spouse! Sure I sometimes get frustrated with my husband, but he's usually the first person I talk to about it and we try to resolve the issue. And sure it might turn into an argument, but I would never think to let the whole world know of our issues.
This sounds like heaven. Enjoy!
Stargirl - Super awkward FB status.
Ooo, their Pinot is good, especially in the summer.
If you ever get to Aldi, they have an awesome Winking Owl Shiraz for $2.69. It's surprisingly decent.
Villa Malizia Pinot Grigio at Aldi is pretty good, too.
AMEN!
Hoek, I will drink a glass for you and the baby.:)
Thanks for the Aldi wine tips! We have a new Aldi in Holland, I will have to go get some. I need to get my drink on before I get pregnant! HA!
Fun!
Stargirl - Please do enjoy a glass of wine for us! I am 14 weeks. It feels like time is moving so slow. I brought Henry to my Dr appt today and he got a little upset when they put the doppler to my stomach to listen to the heartbeat. Overall, I am feeling much better than a few weeks ago.
Wop - I haven't had a good steak in so long. I think Mike and I need to get out for a date soon and steak will be on the menu.
Winking Owl Wine? I'll have to keep that in mind on my next trip to Aldi's. Gosh it's been a while since I was there.
My cousin just had there genes reveal party last night. It's a boy.
I can't believe that tomorrow is Thursday already. Is it just me or is this week going kind of fast.
I've spent the last 2 days off and on searching for dental and vision insurance. I think I found a place to go with but no luck with medical. I've been playing phone tag with the people at Kent Health Plan trying to get on the schedule to be evaluated for there services.
Thanks! The only bad thing is that I don't get any down time to FB or hop on here quickly. That is probably a good thing though.
I should be working on my year-end report. It isn't due until next Friday, but it is hanging over my head causing me anxiety. It isn't hard to do, but it is time consuming and I'm sick of it being on my to-do list. I have some time intenstive projects on my list that I can't wait to check off.
Ahhh, finally sitting down with a glass of wine. Noah is tucked in bed (well, as tucked as you can get lying on top of a crib sheet). He was so funny as I was reading to him tonight. Every time I flipped the page he kissed the bunny on the page. Now the pages are all wet since he decided an open mouth kiss was the way to go.
I decided to drink a "Menage a Trois" wine (combo of Zinfandel, Merlot and Cab Sav). Yummy. My mom saw it on our counter the last time they were over and she said..."Do you know what that (Menage..) MEANS!?" HAHAHAHA "Yes, mom, I know what it can mean. But in this case it is a catchy way to say a blend of three wines".
Greenglam - FUN! I cut my hair drastically once and the jaws dropped at work. SO fun.
Hoek - So glad you are starting to feel better. I need to meet Henry someday. He seems like such a sweet boy! How many BPM was the heart rate?
Deeder - Insurance searching sounds daunting!
GVSU - Great that you finally get to settle in to your new desk! Boo about the report and not being able to bump!
What does this mean?
I'm just going to keep doing individual posts, because I'm cool like that.
Anyway, I'm finally home. It was my monthly long day where I work all day and then volunteer all evening. But now I'm home. And tired. And hungry.
The heart rate was 150. I felt so relieved to hear it, but it was hard to concentrate on listening to it when Henry was sitting on me and getting upset. I needed to reassure him. My first little glimpse into handling two, I suppose.
We should get together! I bet Noah and Henry would have fun together. Or next to each other. Ha!
hmmm it means I can't type. lol
I meant gender reveal party.
Hopefully you have something really good to eat.
I would LOVE that! I bet they would have fun too! Maybe Henry can teach N how to walk.
I understand about being relieved to hear the heartbeat. I have high-risk pregnancies and I was a ball of nerves throughout the whole thing. My sweet DH finally bought me a heart monitor so I could listen to N's sweet HB any time I wanted to.
