Re: Thursday will be good
Noah has some breakfast joy going on; adorable.
Henry finally work up at 9:45. He's so out of it.
Our dogs have never shown any interest in dog toys. Balls, kongs, frisbees, tug ropes... nope. Last night, Greta decided she loves balls. She loves chasing them, and tossing them to herself, bringing them to us and waiting for us to toss them... 2nd puppyhood?
Good morning to Henry!
And while reading about Greta, I said "Awww..." in my head. Sounds cute!
Houston is 6 years old today! I love my doggie so much! She's the best dog ever. I am so lucky to have her. We're making her a birthday cake this weekend
We're nerds.
Houston over the years...
Haha. I would gladly post more. I don't care if people know what I look like.
Our wedding:
Here's me and Nick at my brother's wedding 2 years ago.
I use this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/best-spanish-rice/.
Wop- you're pretty :-)
Happy BD Houston! I think she and I need to celebrate together...along with MI and the sextuplets I guess-begrudgingly though.
Noah's a cutie and Greta sounds adorable.
I have a tax question re: rental property (D&MJ I guess you're the expert), what do I need to give to the tax people in order to report the income? Do I fill out the forms?
Aww thanks
Hmmm... I fear I am going to be of no help. I just send my accountant the totals from each house for the year. I let them do the dirty work. Sorry!
Sweet!! Thanks Lady!!
This reminds me that I'm not looking forward to doing our taxes. I have no idea if we will be getting a refund. 2011 was not a fun year.
I think so, but only on your MI return. I think it works out that you get 1 months rent back.
I'm not sure, but I don't think so.
You can claim the interest you pay on a mortgage, but I don't know about rent.
I'm intrigued. Do you have any links on this with more information?

Thanks, Deeder!
I didn't realize the Homestead credit had an income limit. WTH. I hate taxes.
Mol: I agree I hate taxes.
I just check my library account and it is showing a dvd still out and 8 days past due. Um, I returned that DVD last week Monday. I know it was last Monday b/c the return bin was over filled and I had to stick the DVD between books to get it in. I have to wait for the library to call me back now. grrrrr
I think the complications of the tax code can be frustrating, but I don't hate taxes.
First, taxes pay for a lot of services that are really important to me (road and infrastructure repairs, fire and police protection, libraries, lower tuition at my university, etc.).
Secondly, I'm grateful that my household income is high enough that I am expected to contribute to both the services I use and those that help others improve their lives as well.

Willa's class switched from Art to Music class this week. She was p!ssed yesterday, "we sang a song I already know, and we didn't get to play instruments!"
WOP, happy b-day to Houston. Both of our dogs birthdays are next week.
