Re: Thursday will be good
Will they be singing "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar"? That was my all-time favorite song from elementary school music class. Most of the rest were lame-o.
When I said I hate taxes, I meant I hate the complications of them. I wish they were more straight forward. I hate the phasing out, and different brackets, the deductions, blah...blah...blah. I just wish they were easy to do. Not so damn complicated.
Solution: Get Mitt Romney-style rich and then you don't need to pay taxes.
LOL...that's the goal....
Sigh. That is ridiculous. I can't imagine making $20+ million a year and only have a 13.9% tax rate. Crazy.
Hopefully that will be changing soon...
I thought this was probably the case, but I think with a topic like taxes, it's an important distinction.
A "simpler" tax system a la Cain's 9-9-9 plan or any other flat tax is not necessarily a great solution as it has the potential to be very regressive. Taxes are definitely a very problematic thing.
There is so much to say about this I can't even stand it. I'll just let you read my mind and say nothing at all.
Oh boy, i hope they do sing "Who Stole the Cookie..." It will be interesting to hear how she reacts as an older kid. When she learned it in preschool, well....

Oh, no! I remember reading that now, but I had forgotten.
After much debating between lunch and later this afternoon, I decided on lunch. Hopefully they'll have it finished today.
Happy birthday, BnG!
Happy birthday, Houston!
Happy birthday, MI!
I hope I didn't forget anyone.
I went to one of those last year. It was (obviously) a bigger deal for the parents. But at least the food and wine was good.
The sextuplets! Don't forget the children!!
No Please don't forget the babies! LOL. Thanks Hoektastic.
I figured you would
That would be interesting. I think watching kids as they grow up and seeing the changes as they learn more is so fascinating.
I looked up their names and there are 8 of them!! Octuplets, oh my. The Octo-mom nickname slipped my mind. Well, happy birthday, kids!
That's great news! Congrats!
I have goosebumps!!! Yeah!! I am so happy for you guys!!
FOR?
Tears in my eyes - happy for you.
