    HAHA Brianna!!

So since you brought it up... what kind of shoes do you wear with this dress?  I pinned it a couple days ago on Pinterest.

    SEQUINED 2-IN-1 TANK DRESS

My mind instantly goes to wedges since this is a more casual/fun dress.  Maybe something similar to these?

My mixer is the breast cancer pink one.

Is this light pink or the bright sparkly dark pink?

It is this one.  It matches nothing in my kitchen, but it was a gift a long time ago.  I thought about doing some maybe white scrolls or damask prints.

Around Christmas time, they came out with a sparkly dark pink and an electric blue mixer.  Dang QVC. I kicked myself several times because they are SO pretty; they would not match a single thing in our kitchen but I don't care.  Our mixer is chrome/silver/I forget and it's pretty neutral.

Here's the link- sorry it makes my post weird:

The sun is finally out!!  Weeeee...I think I will going on a walk when I get home.

After 2 years of being married, we are still not considered a 'social unit' by certain people.  Oh well.  Their loss.  And I'm still finding things that I have not changed my name on.

    Hee, story of my life.

I am seriously considering going down to my car and snoozing for 30 minutes.

ETA:  We finally picked our restaurant for V-day.  We've been wanting to try this for awhile:

We have a futon in our workroom and I have taken a few snoozes on it.  I say go for it!!!!

ETA:  I just spent the last thirty minutes talking prom budget and crunching numbers.  I love this time of year!!!!!!

I just read about Red Velvet Pancakes (DH loves red velvet) so I want to make them for breakfast and I had already planned on trying to find a white chocolate fondue recipe for dessert that night.  V-Day is going to be so unhealthy...

Naps are wonderful.  Yesterday I took a little accidental snooze in the student lounge area.  I did the same thing last week but for much longer.  I never have my phone on me (for the alarm) when I end up taking naps so I'm always between being awake and asleep because I don't have anything to wake me up and I'm afraid I'll sleep forever and not make it back to work.

When I was in college, there were some places on campus that always had nappers.  Once I saw a guy asleep on a bench with a sign asking to be woken up at a certain time for class.  I thought it was hilarious.

People do this on the train too. Please wake up at whatever stop.

    Are you kidding me??  Weird.

I didn't take a nap but I wish I would have.  This will definitely be an early night for moi.

  • I love the dresses theme today. My favorite of all those linked today was the one from The Avenue. If it had a scoop neck, it'd be my dream dress. It strikes me as a very classic look.

My H just texted me today to let me know he'd booked a restaurant for dinner for Valentine's Day. I didn't know we were celebrating, let alone that he was going to plan something in advance. I'm excited! I may actually have a legitimate excuse to buy a new dress now, after all.

***off to check out dressbarn.com some more ***

  • So I got an email from Dress Barn saying that they were canceling my order because they didn't have the size in stock (why did you let me order it then?).  I decided to by the black and white dress for Wendi's wedding.  Since she won't let me wear navy to her wedding, she'll have to be okay with some white.
