My Christmas decorations are still up, and there's no guarantee they'll be taken down this weekend.
As of last night, we had ordered takeout 28 times since my accident in October. And that is not counting any of the times we ordered directly from a place instead of through grubhub.com.

Re: Friday Confessions
Hubby and I are officially "old".
We left the comedy club early last night (9:40) because we were both tired.
Got home, passed out.
No sessy time
I'll drink wine, but I'm not a huge fan.
Also, I had bought what I thought was a groupon for a shellac manicure and pedicure a couple of months ago.
I wanted to use it yesterday so I logged on and I couldn't find it anywhere. So I'm at my computer freaking out (because this is my fault for waiting until the last minute) and I'm looking through my e-mail, bank statements because I know I bought the damn thing.
I call groupon directly, and I'm starting to get sad because I never buy things like this. Turns out, it was Living Social the whole time.
Have I mentioned, I'm an idiot?
ETA: The deal I bought came with a margarita and I somehow conned them into give me 4 more. I had to call a gf of mine up to pick me up.
As I was packing my lunch, I realized I hadn't packed any veggies. I justified it by thinking, "I will order the pot pie tonight at the Irish restaurant. That has veggies!"
Fail.
At least you found it!
My outside Christmas lights are still up too, I have no desire to take them down.
I'm 35 years old and I have never ironed anything in my life. Ever.
Sometimes I secretly don't like living so close to my sister. I love her to death, but she's pretty needy.
I'm feeling super guilty about going to the GTG this weekend. We planned it when I was still working, so I figured it would be a welcomed distraction from my usually stressful job. But since we planned it, I'm not working. I stay at home all day and am fairly stress-free. I am not making any$, so MH is funding the entire weekend (which he has no problem doing, but it makes me feel guilty). I also feel guilty for not being here. He jsut got back from out of town and I'm leaving on a girls weekend.
Gosh, I'm rambling. Sorry.
Not rambling.
Understandable.. but we're super glad you're coming!
This is pure awesome.
Yeah you did! I admire your power of persuasion!
Mine is a silly AW. Deal with it
When DH spends time with Mary, he uses white zig zag papers. One time he found hemp ones and loved that, because they were super thin.
Well, last night I was out and about and had to get him more papers...and I came across hemp papers! I bought them and brought them home...he was pretty excited and I felt like an amazeballs wife.
I can't use papers to save my life. I can do it out of blunt sticks, but no dice with zig zags.
Yes - and I believe expected..
I'm bummed I'm missing this!
I haven't had ANY alcohol in 12 days- those days have sucked!
An American Girl's Travels
I finished our nursery yesterday, and I am pleased as pudding with how it turned out. It is making me happy that it is done and ready.
PIP
Oh yay!! That's really exciting HD!! I'd love to see pics if you're willing to share.
Sweet! Do you have dates yet?
Yes, Honey! PIP! I have given zero thought to the nursery. Well, not zero THOUGHT, but zero effort. Matt moved his desk out of there, and that is it.
Oh, and the carpet is pink in there. I doubt we change it. All our extra money is going into the Lisa isn't working for a couple of months, and has no paid mat leave fund. Babies don't care about carpet color.
Fact! Hopefully you have a girl and won't have to worry about it!
No luck. It's a boy. But the walls are a camo green, so that should even it out.
Cool!
I can't PIP at work, but it's on my blog... poof
No baby or news to report yet, but I am hopeful
