Dear Body,
After dress shopping yesterday I'm not on speaking terms with you anymore!

Re: OL Tuesday
Dear Monday-
While you were such a "Monday" at work, last night was fabulous because it wasn't rush, rush, rush or "Holy cow, it's suddenly 10 o'clock". I was able to cook a meal and prep for tonight or whenever we plan on eating that meal, clean up the kitchen and spend some quality time with the hubs. Feel free to happen more often.
Dear sun-
You were sunny until I got off. What's up with that? I missed out...again.
Dear boss-
Your mood lately has been a little odd...there's cause for concern because we usually pay for your not so negative outlook but I hope you realize that when you're not in a crappy mood, we are much happier humans. Not being yelled at and criticized and walking on eggshells can do wonders for me. Keep it up!
Dear Tom's Natural Deoderant-
I think you are a keeper. Now if I only bought more of you when you were 99 cents.
Dear coffee or whatever I get from the place downstairs-
You sound so yummy right now. It's very hard to say that I don't want you.
Dear Starbucks-
It would be really great if you would build a location on our side of town.
Dear Chelsea -

Dear Student Loan,
I am so mad at you right now! My payment is now past due because you won't get back to me about my deferrment and lower payment requests. Now when I try to make a partial payment, you won't let me because you say I have to pay the whole amount past due plus the amount now due. I don't have $600 to give you!! Just work with me here!
Jaymi,
Last night was nice! I got my workout done and everything and it was still only 8:30 as opposed to when it's usually like 9:30 or 10. I felt so productive!

Dear brain,
Please play nice today. Lately, you've been forgetting stuff, and while it's not been anything catastrophic, you've made me nervous.
Love, Busy Chelsea
Dear Lawyer,
This entire adoption process has been ridiculous, and now I'm furious. You told us when we hired you that we'd be done by Thanksgiving... now you're telling us that even though we've done EVERYTHING right, the earliest we can get a court date is late March? Funny, I thought that because we were paying you, our adoption case would be somewhat of a priority. The worst part is knowing that there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.
Mommy who just wants this done
I'm going to require a repeat squeal in person, just for the full effect.
Dear Brianna,
I'm so excited for you. It makes me really excited for April 12th!!!
Dear Nesties,
I find myself able to make it through the day just fine with healthier food choices. However, by the time dinner rolls around and Bill gets home, my decision making is crap. I had a good breakfast, a good lunch and two good snacks. Then, we went to Whataburger. Ugh. Dinner will be at home tonight but I'm so frustrated with my will power.
Dear Weather,
I really hate you right now. It's winter, we're supposed to have some cold air.
Dear Lake Lewisville,
You look pretty good with your new water. I know you need more, and I hope you get it. Just not all at once.
This is me some nights and Whataburger is our #1 go to...it's right down the road
I never ate so much Whataburger until I met DH. He's been a horrible influence and I've had to learn to say 'No'. In a controlled environment, I'm good.
For me, sometimes I cave because I need something right then and there because I feel like I'm about to pass out and it's just easier to go somewhere than find a snack to tide me over and then recover just to spend time cooking. So I try my best to eat enough during the day but it doesn't always happen.
I feel like I'm missing something???
Nesties,
Has anyone heard from Leslie? I hope she is doing okay.

Dear Nesties,
I guess I'm out of the loop too
I had the same problems with a loan that apparently changed lenders and I didn't know about. I had to come up with $2,000 last min. The best thing to do is just keep calling them and documenting everything everyone says until you get it resolved.

Dear Sarah and Deepthi-
When someone buys your mortgage, they are required to tell you and you have a grace period of sorts- I'm not familiar with all the rules anymore as we have not had any issues in the last 10 months or so. Is there seriously not something similar for student loans? If not, I think it's bologna. I curse Sallie Mae but I should be thankful I haven't had to deal with the stuff you have had to.
Dear book club ladies-
Has anything been decided about February besides the book choice? I haven't seen anything about it on the board.
Dear helper-
You've been here 6, going on 7 months. You don't have to memorize every single little thing but at least have a clue what's going on. A lot of the info you ask me about (because you can't answer a single question yourself) is right in front of your face but you don't seem to grasp that.
Dear ladies,
Random, but I really love to write and have been thinking about trying to write a book. I kind of have an idea in mind but am still trying to develop it. What do you like to read about? Like what do you really like to have in a story?

Dear Jaymi, Deepthi is hosting February at her house, February 25. The book for March is Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and Angie is hosting but we haven't set a date yet.
Dear Sarah, that is so exciting! I love reading all kinds of things--except fluffy, Harlequin-type romances. Or about little kids left alone to run a city by themselves.
Dear Brianna, good luck today!
Dear Nesties, I am sooo busy today. Hopefully can check in later.

Oh I love the kids having to run a city by themselves! That fits perfectly with what I wanted to do. I may use that :-P. Thanks!

Brianna - I totally spaced on the day! Have fun! Can't wait to see the pictures after.
Jaymi,
It doesn't work the same as a mortage unfortunately. They said they did notify me by sending it to my old college address. Either way it was worked out and taken care. Sarah I hope you are able to work something out with them as well. I hate my loans and wish I had taken longer in school if it meant not having them in the end. Hindsights always 20/20

Deepthi,
Thanks! And I totally agree. I wish I had just let it take a little longer so I wouldn't have so many loans now :-/

Sarah,
I like some humor. It doesn't have to be uproariously funny but I like to chuckle. Also, I don't like depressing or heavy books. I've always wanted to write a book as well.
Dear Nesties with Student Loans,
I am ever so grateful that my dad basically gave me my college education. Having to deal with all the garbage that I hear from here makes me more and more grateful every day.
Dear Nesties,
I have to leave at lunch to go out to mail a recommendation that a student gave me this morning. I hope that I can be strong and not give in to the temptation of just grabbing something since I'm out.
Dear Student,
I feel bad for you that your home life is so bad. However, I think you can pick yourself up from this and move past it. You had a huge grin on your face last week when you got a 110 on a vocabulary test. I know you can do this. As hard as it can be, try to be positive for yourself because you are the only person you can rely on at this point. I'm pulling for you.
Hee, well I thought that was what The Hunger Games was about -- I guess I was a little off.

I thought our book was Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
It is the book for Feb.
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is the book for March.
Deepthi- They don't make much of an effort in contacting you, huh? Lame.
The hunger games is told from the perspective of a younger girl, but there are adults in it too. :-). You should read it. I just finished the second one and am waiting on the third one!

Dear Brianna, SO excited to see the pictures.
Dear Sarah, I love to read just about anything as long as it is busy and keeps going. If I cant get into it I wont stick with it and I know thats subjective and not all that helpful.
Dear ladies who updated their passports, I really want to keep my old one with my guatemala and mexico stamps on it. Can I just say I lost it or rip the stamped pages out of the old one?
I've always wanted to write a book too! I don't really care what it's about, but I need books that suck me and make me not want to put them down. Unexpected twists and turns keep me reading!
I'm slammed at work today, and super emotional lately. I nearly cried on the way to work listening to an OnStar commercial... lame.
They will send your old one back to you with the new one. So, no worries!

Oh really, I thought they kept it and that made me really sad.
LOL Angie! I cry at stuff all the time.
I still haven't gotten a new passport. *sigh*

Ha, me too. It just keeps getting worse as time goes on as well and was supposed to be an OL to myself today but I forgot. I've become such a girl. And I'm going to be 'that mom' as well, I'm sure.
There were a few things that got me teary eyed this weekend and I tried my hardest to keep it in as some of it was just stupid crap.
I heard "A Smile as Big as the Moon" was a tear jerker (in a happy way) so I'm putting off watching it until I'm alone.
And speaking of crying, Farrah from Teen Mom has a book out. Some wondered if it was a "how to" on her ugly cry, lol.
