Wednesday All day All Night Randoms
Morning friends!
Just want to make sure everyone saw the birth control recall by Pfizer. The pills are in the wrong order and will not prevent pregnancy. That is all for your morning PSA.
Re: Wednesday All day All Night Randoms
Good morning!
I hadn't heard about the BC recall. Good PSA!
Morning!
I think I'm starting to maybe be getting a little depressed. I was laying in bed this morning thinking about how I absolutely did now want to get out of bed and go to work, but also how I absolutely did not want to stay home. That's never a good sign.
One positive thing I've got going lately is that I got another 95% on my quiz in my history class. That makes two weeks in a row. They are essays...aka my worst enemy...lol. I hate essays! So I'm really happy to be doing so well on those.
That's not good :-( Are you able to maybe do someting for yourself this weekend? Maybe grab a nice breakfast or lunch to destress or maybe get a relaxing pedicure? With so much going on, it sounds like you need some "me" time.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It sounds like you may be getting overwhelmed with everything going on. I think it would be hard not to do so in your shoes! Yo've got a lot to deal with right now.
That's a good idea. I think I will try to find some time for a pedicure or something.
Anyone (besides Chymes) get their taxes done yet.
I think we have all the documents we need, so I have to remember to call and make an appointment.
Nick dropped ours off yesterday. Should be interesting.
We are probably doing our taxes this weekend.
Good Wednesday to you.
I hope you feel better very soon Molly. Me time sounds like a great idea. Congrats on your essays!
I didn't know about the recall either. Thanks for telling us.
Wop- congrats on your weight loss. I just signed up for spark people. I'm hoping to lose a few pounds too.
Julie- I'm not sure you'll see this but thanks for the mint.com rec. Looks good! We will have to try it out.
Nothing interesting my way. Except I could really get used to the weather and I'm loving that it's getting lighter earlier now.
Wop, nice job on the weight loss!
I have all my documents for taxes. I think I am going to owe but I dont know. I am stressing about that.
On a good note, I am seeing the doctor today after work.
Des&Mol - keep your head up!
I think I got to experience what it might be like to sleep next to an alligator last night. I was scratched; my cheek, finger and boob was bitten; and a clump of hair was pulled out.
Good thing my son is cute.
American University of the Caribbean, St. Martin is a real University?! Why didn't I know about that 15 years ago. Dang.
(I had to see a Doc for mastitis last friday. I was curious to where she went to school, so I looked her up online.)
On another note, I called my PC on friday b/c I felt so poorly. All the receptionist said was "sorry we don't have time for that today". Luckily I thought to call my OB. While their entire practice was booked, they called another practice and found me an appt. I an considering finding a new primary care doc.
Ouch! Hehe.
I think I'm going to look into going to that school for my bachelors. Haha. Nice.
I'm sorry that you felt crummy on Friday.
What a crappy PCP. Glad your OB was able to get you in somewhere!! Hope you are feeling better.
Awww, feel better soon! Enjoy your nap.
Feel better Stargirl.
I think my coffee is having the opposite effect on me this morning. I just got SO sleepy. Eyes are heavy. Does not bode well for productivity.
Star: Sorry about the sharing of the flu. That was incredibly nice of Chris to take a day so you can recover.
B&G: I'm on spark people too!
Wop: Sweeeet!!! Congrats on the weight loss. I would love to get my pre motherhood body back and I didn't even have to go through an actual pregnancy.
Mol: I also think a pedicure with a new pair of cute shoes would help.
Were waiting on taxes just a few more days but will probably do them next week.
Yes, I'm still hanging on to a smidgen of hope. It was nice to see that the amniotic fluid sac had gotten much, much larger. And I haven't had any spotting at all, so that's another plus.
That would be a huge bummer.
It would definitely not be weird for you to become depressed with all you have going on. I don't have a lot of tips for how to actually prevent "depression" but I think taking time out for yourself and focusing on the things that you can control. To-do lists that often include the smallest things often helps increase my sense of momentum.
DH is home with a chest cold, He won't try any of my natural remedies which is kind of a bummer. Raw honey, brandy, elderberries--how could he not want to try that? Heck, I sometimes take a spoonful even when I'm not feeling sick LOL.
I'm turning into one of "those" people though. A friend of mine at work was passing around a Melaleuca catalog and I was like 'oh, no need to buy iron pills . . . I make a great herbal iron syrup for a fraction of the cost." Seriously, what is happening to me? I'm inching ever more closer to the crunchy line.
