I hope your day has moved by quickly. Only 1:45 until your appt. now!!!
I have a student who doesn't do a lick of work, very rarely studies, etc. I like him a lot and I try to give him a break because he's special needs. I have offered to sit next to him and do the work with him, etc. However, I don't know how much longer I can listen to him say "I'm not passing your class because you don't like me" or "You're not passing me because I'm black." At some point, he's got to do some work.

I just wish we could have gotten an explanation. I mean, I know no one owes us one but I think it would have helped us move on. I hope we keep doing book club though because I think we all really enjoy it.

I've got this in the crockpot for dinner and am very excited! Instead of buns, I have tortillas, celery to cut up on top and some blue cheese crumbles. YUM!
Julie, Deepthi reminded me that I forgot to tell you who my cousin is doing their adoption through. It is American Adoptions. She said to be careful because there is also one without the 's' at the end and it is one aimed at alternative families. Not a bad thing, just not what you are probably looking for.

I want to talk about the request for putting the pants on but I've already talked about cocaine today so I probably shouldn't.
The second one was okay. My favorite part was Allen at the beginning. "I'm a stay at home son." and "Would a cupcake have killed you?"
We never saw the second one... we keep saying we'll get it, but it just hasn't been a priority. As rarely as we get to watch adult movies, we tend to be pretty picky.

Just got back from the ultra sound. I think I'm going to create another post since it's kind of long. Plus, if people don't want to read it they don't have too.

It wasn't as funny but Allen was still pretty good.
You have to know the secret password, the special handshake, and buy the t-shirt. I kid, I kid. We're reading Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, and book club will be on the 25th at Deepthi's house in FW - times, directions, etc to follow. We generally do pot luck style, and it's usually around lunch time.
And the food.is.awesome.
Book club is normally 11-1 unless the hostess says otherwise. March's book is Hotel on the Corner of the Bitter and Sweet just FYI.
