Yeah, this all sounds fishy. You just seem sooo nonchalant about not being able to walk! You didn't answer Edith's question. What exactly do you mean by "I can't walk"??
I know anxiety comes in different forms and effects everyone differently, but my brother has anxiety, and he is on LOA from his job because of it. He isn't just sitting at home saying oh well. He's been to several doctors, proactively working to get better and taking his meds. He's not writing a blog and on message boards. IDK, this all just sounds off. It seems like there's more you and your H could be doing to get some straight answers.
What happened last time you couldn't walk? What was the trigger and how were you able to walk again?
Reason #387,652 why children shouldn't get married. You literally have no idea what life you are legally binding yourself to.
Wow, just read your blog entry. I can't say I've ever seen anyone on TIP be anything but supportive of you. What you wrote was just plain mean. No, no one is saying they're neurologists or trying to diagnose you. If anything, they're trying to give you ideas of what could be affecting you (someone brought up a family member who had some kind of disorder, I think that was definitely to give your more ideas, not diagnosing you!), maybe to bring to a doctor or something.
I've never said anything mean to you, I've always been supportive on all your posts so...thanks for that slap in the face. There's only one comment on this post that I thought was unfounded and a weird response to your OP, really, but everyone else was pretty nice.
Ditto.
ITA.
BV, you're acting like a douche about this whole thing.
And that post just proved that it's less mental disorder and more azzhole.
This sucks... I liked bval.

Listen, you need help. A good psychiatrist should be able to appropriately diagnose you. Did you look into somatoform/conversion disorders?
People here have been supportive, there is no need for you to be mean to them. Whether conscious or not, you are doing a lot of things for attention.
This is kind of where I am at.
Bval, the blog post was a giant over reaction to this whole thing. I think you need some very serious help & it makes no sense to be ugly to those of us who've been nice to you. That makes me sad. I wish you the best. Happy trails.
