An old friend of DH's is a heavy guy (400+ lbs). He wanted to go to the Biggest Loser auditions in MI but had to work the day they were held. (This was a year or more ago).
Well, Extreme Makeover Weight Loss is looking for a new cast and is hosting auditions in Detroit. Would it be rude if I told him about it? (He doesn't watch the news). I don't like approaching the situation, but at the same time, he is the one that wanted to change...
Re: Would it be rude?
How close are you? Do you think he would be open to it?
If you do, I would just say that you remembered he wanted to go to the BL audition and couldn't make it but just in case he was still interested in something like that, the Extreme Make over was doing auditions.
I wouldn't think so if you were excited and non-rude.
ie. "OMG, Dude! I know you missed the Biggest Loser but I saw that EM Weight Loss is coming!! You should totally do it! Be an awesome TV star"
