    Ribth, aren't you an anesthesiologist? Aren't you supposed to say spinels are totally wonderful and sad an fun? Her name is Rita Alexandra. I go back and forth between calling her Rita and Allie, but I'm leaning more toward Allie. H stayed with me in the ICU the whole time. He barely ate because he didn't want to leave my side. If they had sent her home without me, I think we both would have been a wreck.

    Pretty name! I especially love Alexandra. And I'm glad that I wasn't cracking up,  because I was thinking that it was Rita because I remembered rosen commenting on it. But my memory isn't so good these days.

    I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz

    I kept thinking I've been looking at lots of baby name resources lately and haven't seen a single name that could have both Allie and Rita as nicknames.

    What a doll, and what a freaking scary experience.  I was antsy when they had her in the nursery for a couple hours, I can't imagine how much I'd be losing my shiit to be separated for so long.

    Keep up the good work with the nursing.  I'm glad you have a supportive pediatrician.  It does get easier!

    Wow, what an experience. I'm glad everything is okay now. And don't be too hard on yourself with nursing, it gets easier a few weeks in. Just keep drinking lots of water and get rest.
