OMG, is anyone else finding it impossible to find a job??
After my break up six months ago I moved to another city an hour away. Since then I have applied to countless jobs and had many interviews and still no job. I am commuting back and forth an hour each way which is extremely rough with a toddler. I have never in all my working years experienced this. Last time I looked for a job in 2008 I found one immediately. It was the first job I interviewed for. I just can't believe this. I have a bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in my field.

Re: OMG, is anyone else finding it impossible to find a job??
I have friends with their BA or MA and could not find a job for a couple of years. One was a Graphic Designer for Lockeed Martin and the other one was an engineer for a big company(forgot what type).
Well the Graphic desinger now works for Safeway for grocery delivery vans and the other one still have not found a job.
The economy is why I am still working at a job that is brutal.
Yah...this.
I'm thankful I HAVE a job!
Ditto PP,
I work for the federal gov't and I have been trying to move around within the agency and to no avail. I have also been trying to get a part time job to do something with my spare time and can't even find anything.
