(Whatever It's Supposed To Be) Thursday!
Re: (Whatever It's Supposed To Be) Thursday!
My momma's cookin is what's for dinner for me! I'm already hungry though, and I still have to go home, pack, and drive 2 hours. I am dying to get outta here today - 25 more hours til I get to see J! (I'm such a baby, I know - thanks for putting up with me.)
I keep powdered stuff forever too... although, I'd heard 2 years, but I can't remember what kind of product that guideline was for. And those of you who break your shadows... there's a pin on Pinterest about how to repair it. Basically, you smoosh it back in there & add a little rubbing alcohol to make it hold, and then leave it open & the alcohol will dry out, leaving it good as new. Who knows if it works though.
This is funny, if you need a laugh: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/tenacious-summer-analyst-applicant-got-laughed-at-by-everyone-else-on-wall-street.html
Angie, I tried the whole alcohol thing to repair and it didn't work at all. Unpin it! I'm excited that you get to see J! I can't imagine being apart for a whole month. You are definitely not being a baby in my book. DH was gone for 2 weeks last month and I missed him so much by the time he got home. Drive safe and have a fun weekend!!!
Stephie - it is similar. He usually just does a rough chop on some spinach, basil and mixes with reduced fat feta and a dash of olive oil, salt and pepper. He then cuts the chicken in half, fills it and ties it together with string (toothpicks should work great too!). Salt and pepper the outside and throw on the grill.
My favorite side with that is to take a bag of broccoli and cauliflower, mix with salt and pepper, olive oil and basalmic vinegar and throw on the grill. The veggies get a little char where the olive oil was, it is SO delicious and SO easy!

Mmmm, sounds good. Do you think the veggies would work on an indoor grill? That is all we have. I was going to go to cheat and get veggies at Eatzi's!

Just do it!
Bill's going to a happy hour with some coworkers so I'm all alone for dinner. I have no idea what I'll do yet. I'm getting a mani-pedi tonight as well.
Amanda,
I did look on my eyeshadow and blush and there were no suggestions on the back--just the liquids. However, I throw it out after about two years.
So, I have a question for all the make up experts: in my compact, I someone how managed to get oil from my face on to the sponge and then it got on my pressed powder. I think I pretty much know the answer but, am I screwed?
I don't see why it wouldn't turn out just as good.

Enjoy dinner ladies!
Julie, thanks for checking for me. I think I may need to toss the 2 that are that old and find some new stuff. I did get some new bare mineral eyeshadow last weekend. It's so pretty!
Idk about the powder, Julie. I would toss it or get a new sponge and try to scrape off the oily part.
