Since she's not allowing comments I did get her email address & send off a nicely worded response. Nothing nasty. I told her though she should consider her elitist attitude though because the Nazis and the KKK hold similar views.

And also, did I ever tell you how your guest post caused quite the stir on my blog haha? It was featured on MilSpouseCentral or something like that and a bunch of wives got their panties in a bunch about the whole saying "OUR deployment" thing. I got a lot of "well, I took care of the 3 kids, paid the bills, ran the house, went grocery shopping, etc. so I'm allowed to say it was MY deployment too". Hah!

Second, I very much value all of our Guard members, and think no less of them. They are a critical part of our country, and without them, many things would not be able to be accomplished. I do not think any less of them, or wish to make their personal sacrifices any less than any other service members.

There is a difference between members of the Guard, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, etc. If there weren't then there would be no need for different branches. None is better than the other, or more valuable. My family makes different sacrifices than yours, but that's not bad and it doesn't make anybody a better or worse person. It's the life that we chose, and I accept full responsibility for that when times get rough.

The main point for the post was to point out those differences. In my experiences with many members of the Guard that I know on a personal level, they do not do the branch the credit that it deserves. I don't think I need to go into detail. Perhaps I should have been more specific, but I didn't want these people to be targeted on something I knew was going to be very public.

I grew up surrounded by all branches of the military, in a very pro-military state, and everyone of them was proud to represent their own specific branch, no matter if it was Navy, Marines, Army, Guard, etc. I have had people correct and lecture me when I have called them Army, when they are in the Guard.

I just want to re-state that I do support ALL our branches equally, and think absolutely no less of one or the other. Without them I would not be able to post exactly as I did, and neither would you.

There will be some changes made to the blog, as it will not be taken down, and a disclaimer will be one of them.

I don't know if she took my advice about adding a disclaimer or if she was instructed to do so but it's now up on the top of the post. She's also removed all her pictures and her other posts. I'm sure command got involved.

Honestly, I can't find it in me to care about this one way or another. So she said some stupid and offensive shits. Who cares? Her husband getting involved in it... that's his fault, but she should not be part of the reprimand. She's entitled to her stupid opinion. Since she didn't sign any paperwork, she's representative of herself, not the military.

I say negative things about the military (although not at all like the blogger). I'm an outspoken opinionated woman. Now, I know how to behave in polite society, and I know better than to say stupid shits on a public blog, but I can't imagine H would do much more than laugh if someone told him to control his wife.
