Wow, that was on in 1975??? YIKES!
I watched a 70's commercial for Jontue (my favorite high school fragrance) and that was a little crazy too.
I remember that commercial.
And there was a print ad for LBS that was even creepier than that.
Their print ads are horrific as well.
I would totally post some to back that up, only I don't want the FBI to come crashing through my door, arreseting me, and taking my Internets into evidence.
I'm sure she's 18, Fuss. And she is fully clothed. I think.
I was fifteen when that commercial was made, bought the product, and wore that dress (or nearly; mine had tiny pink flowers all over it but otherwise was the same). With four inch platform heels, pink undies, and nothing else.
I did the toes pointed inward thing, too. God help me. Target market.

Sue_Sue, do you remember? Was there no talk of these ads being even potentially inappropriate for sexualizing young girls or calling babies sexy? Nothing?
