Re: Helloooooooo
Anyone else lurking ML?
If Heith EVER did something like this, I would murder his asss. MURDER.

H and I were supposed to go out tonight - a work party of his at my all-time favorite restaurant. It's one that we only go to once in a very long while ($$$) and I was soooooo excited. I found a babysitter who was going to put DD to bed, even. No one else has ever put her to bed and tonight was to be the night.
This morning H and I had an argument and the day just went down the tubes from there.
He canceled the babysitter and left without me an hour ago. DD was screaming at the door for him and wouldn't let me get her ready for bed.
She's finally down, and I have a huge glass of wine, but I feel like sh!t.
Uh no, I take big issue with "punishing" your spouse. Wtf?
Kristen- that's great because I think it's reallllllllyy hard to come back to that want after you're kind of over it in your mind. So, that's a huge hurdle even if you have a long way to go.
Did pinching the tip help any?
Me too. You don't get to decide how I spend my night.
"I feel like shiit" is like the biggest understatement I can possibly come up with. Yes reading this scenario makes me totally ragey, but then I think- this can't be the first time something like this has gone down because just sitting down and having a glass of wine as recourse seems incredibly resigned to this type of behavior. Like, I'd be insane if that happened. I'd also be wondering if mh had a tumor or something to drastically change his behavior to be able to do something like that. So, I feel like this is probably a person who is a glutton for punishment with an a-hole of a spouse.
Yeah even since I saw you guys I've felt a change. I'm certainly in a much better place than I was around the holidays. I was like looking for apartments. Not there any longer.
And then reading sh*t like Jens just posted makes me realize how lucky I am. Good gravy.
We haven't pinched the tip yet. I just...ugh. WHY?!?! I don't know if I can do it!
Bwah! Now I can't unclench, thanks a lot Winged.
No clit biting!
I'm so glad things are looking up for you guys, KB.
I still can't stop laughing like a ninny at "pinch the tip"
I am happy things are turning around KB.
CLIT!
CLITORIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clitoral stimulation!
I'm glad things are looking up, KB.
I finally got C to bed after a rough day of being sick and teething. Her bottom 2 teeth have just broken through and she's a hot mess. We didn't go to the birthday party we were supposed to because we all feel so crummy. I went out to Target for Valentine's day stuff (yay dollar section - great stuff for babies) and bought myself a pair of shoes. That was the highlight of our day.

OH, and LOOK.
We had a "regular" fight. Nothing big, nothing ugly. We don't really yell, and we don't do spiteful or mean things. Like, ever. We've just had a run of really stressful life events - deaths in both of our families, health concerns with DD, stressful stuff at work for both of us. We're both just stressed, and instead of turning towards each other like we usually do, today we turned our stress against each other.
H decided that we probably shouldn't go out in public together (esp to a work function) and so he decided that I wouldn't go. I said that the sitter would still be coming (as sort of a last-ditch, childish effort to get him to reconsider.) He really did need to go - and he went. Then he called the sitter right before leaving.
First HE decided she wouldn't go. And then, even after she explicitly said the sitter would still be coming, he STILL called and canceled when he left!
F&^*&*$)#*@%(&$!!!!!!!!!
I would be livid. That is total crap. We would definitely have more words about that, and I probably would call the sitter back and still go out somewhere.

Sorry you guys are feeling crappy, Sparrow.
This reminds me, I want to get some cheesy v-day stuff and make valentines and cupcakes for my sisters.
And also for Heith I suppose. But he'll appreciate sexing more than cupcakes, and I want to make cupcakes!
She says she would, but they only have one car and he took it.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Even having only one car sounds like an f'ed up form of control in this relationship. Unless they live in a city then I don't even get not having even just a shiitty second car to get around when you want. I could never feel stranded/trapped like that.
Yay!
We just watched Crazy, Stupid, Love., which was awesome. Now I'm sad about Whitney Houston.
ML confuses me. So many troubled marriages. So many jerky SOs. So many posters in troubled relationships with jerky SOs given other posters in troubled relationships with jerky SOs advice.

KB, how does Mike feel about this whole tip pinching idea? If I were him, I'd real nervous every time something sexy starts a-happenin'. "Is she....is she...ohshitohshit".
Seems like it would put a damper on things rather than spark a flame. Maybe you should just do it and get it over with.

Ha, that sounds cute Sparrow. I feel bad because I have class Tuesday night, and then volleyball after. I'M SO ROMANTIC.
We don't go out or anything for vday anyway, but we usually like to make a nice dinner and be together and stuff. Whateva though, I'll probably come home all sweaty and then we can get freaky in the shower. Everybody wins.
