Ha, that sounds cute Sparrow. I feel bad because I have class Tuesday night, and then volleyball after. I'M SO ROMANTIC.
We don't go out or anything for vday anyway, but we usually like to make a nice dinner and be together and stuff. Whateva though, I'll probably come home all sweaty and then we can get freaky in the shower. Everybody wins.

I miss shower sex. Arthur has class so who knows when we'll get to try stuff out.

I got him some reese's peanut butter hearts and some boxer briefs to try for running. Super wild!

I'm headed to Omaha on Tuesday, so I don't think we'll even really see each other for valentine's day (we wouldn't if I were here either since he works 4-12 still). We're planning to celebrate next weekend though. We agreed on nothing over $20 for gifts, so I'm pretty stumped on what to get that doesn't include food. I think I may go with some movie tickets for next weekend for one of the director's suite type things at the theater.

I'm over at a friend's house babysitting in reciprocation for the babysitting we received last night. I was going to do some work, but the kid just cried briefly and now I'm afraid that if I put my headphones on I won't hear him. So I guess I'll just sit here and fucck around and knit.

Also, the kid wears cloth diapers. I don't know what the foff to do with cloth diapers. I really hope he doesn't poop or something.

I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some garbage bags on my way over here, and then I saw some Girl Scouts and bought a box of Samoas. So I gave the girl my $5, and then she just stood there. So I stood there staring at her. Finally she said, "Oh, do you want your change?" I said, "Yup," all pleasant-like, but I was annoyed that she just assumed. I'm poor, I need that dollar for things like ramen.

Did you all leave? Don't leave me. I'm in a strange apartment and every time one of the cats moves I jump. And I can hear the neighbors opening and closing doors and I keep thinking it's the kid getting up or something.

It's better since we are fully staffed with admins finally. BUT. Someone resigned is I have 3 full on openings to fill plus regular work. It will be crazy at least through the election and the supreme court decision on the individual mandate.

Kevin's mom sent me a super sweet valentine's day card with a note about how glad they are that I am joining their family. It made my eyes water a little.

Connor has been at J's parents for a week now, so I know he's going to need some recalibration when he gets back tomorrow. That combined with starting a new daycare this week makes me afraid this is going to be a rough week.

Aw, that's sweet Wendy! I hope the week isn't awful, but yeah, I'd be a little afraid too. I hope the new place works out.

Mod, I'm glad it's a little better, but I'm sorry it won't be totally better any time soon. Lorne said he's thinking of taking a little time off in the summer. I think he'll know more about how he can schedule next year at the end of the month, so maybe then we can start planning our Pismo adventure.

I used to be a recruiter but now I am in government relations focused on healthcare.

The weather forecasters are predicting our first snow of the season tomorrow night. I am sure it won't be enough to warrant a day off work, but just in case, I wish I had brought my laptop home since I am supposed to leave town on Tuesday and I still have some coordination stuff to do before then.

Ahhh. With the grandparents. Now I understand how it was seeming like you were living this leisurely life of watching movies, going to bed late, sleeping in, etc. I was all jealous like how the F does she get to do all this with a boy child under 5. Now it all makes sense.

We do a 50/50 split anyhow and usually it's Friday to Friday, but J had his parents keep Connor this week so that we could delay the child care decision a little and since he was already there he asked if they could just stay through the weekend. I'll have him back tomorrow night.
