What's everyone up to for VD (Valentine's Day)?
Yes, I just posted this to be an AW. You caught me.
We don't usually do anything for VD, but tomorrow I have my first monitoring appointment for our second (and probably last) round of IVF. We also have to pay the bill tomorrow, which is giving me pause. I wonder if my credit card company is going to call me and ask WTF.
So, I guess you could say that for Valentine's Day we are buying each other a chance at [finally] having a baby. How romantic!
Anybody doing anything exciting?

YAY! BEST GIFT EVER!
I'm having pro photos of the babies done tomorrow. Then again on Thursday. I had already paid for the ones for tomorrow when a friend of mine gifted me another and I didn't want to tell her I already had set them up. Not sure if Tony got me anything but I got him a gift certificate to a day spa. He's spent three months taking care of me and now he's been doing so much with the babies and he needs a massage badly.
I asked for two Garnet bands for my right hand to represent the babies since (Jan birth stone) but I doubt he's had time to get them.

Dawg, I'd say your girls are sufficiently photogenic to warrant two photo shoots. I think that is actually a great gift.
Hmmm, the process is sit and hope the egg donor produces lots of good eggs. I am taking meds, too (to stop ovulation and to build up my lining), and they are just checking on me to see if my lining is OK. I don't really know. I am glad to be more hands off with this cycle because being really hands on means more anxiety. Our projected day of transfer is March 12. Oh, and we are working with my doctor in Reno because we really liked him and the Kaiser clinic in Sacramento can suckadiiick. That's all I'll say about them.

We didn't want to do anything big on V-day with it being a weekday. We did it low-key this weekend with dinner out to our favorite Mexican place and presents and cards yesterday morning (face wash/moisturizer/shave cream for him, Lego for me). I bet I'll also get flowers on Tuesday.

We're touring the maternity ward of the hospital tomorrow night. How romantical! And I have my GD test at 8 on Wednesday morning, so I can't even have a special valentine dessert. This baby is ruining my life already.

I'm not really into Valentine's Day and expected to let it come and go without notice, but then I decided it was an opportunity to try to get a damn cookie cake. I told Mr. Spiderman he can get me that and in return, I will get him nothing. He seemed okay by that. We will either have a feast of fishsticks (because it's his night to cook), or we'll end up getting the fancy Burgerville Valentine's Day Sweetheart Meal.

Married Bio
We went to dinner at a fancy steakhouse on Saturday. It was totally disappointing. The chef must have lost the top to the pepper canister because that was all it tasted like.
Tomorrow we'll probably eat the fancy steakhouse leftovers just so they don't go to waste.

We're also doing nothing. My husband works late Tues, so I'll need to pick up Delilah from daycare and we'll probably eat leftover lasagna that we made yesterday. We did go to an impromptu nice dinner Sat though.

hmmm, something texas is awesomer at.
We did a night away Saturday night paired with an engagement party for some friends that was supposed to be sort of a Valentine's treat for us and it turned out being just blah.
Tomorrow night I'll go to my class at the gym and then we'll probably cook some steaks for dinner. After the way Saturday turned out I'm sort of over the whole VD thing for this year.
And I have my fingers crossed you get your cookie cake.
Yes, this is the first (and last) time with donor eggs. We should have lots and lots of good eggs and therefore a better chance that one of them will magically turn into a baby. We decided my eggs were way too.....underwhelming to even chance it.
