Yes, I guess you're right. Also, I'm realizing another problem is that I just haven't ever dated much. Brian and I had mutual friends that were dating, so the 4 of us hung out together during the awkward phase, making it really easy. Plus, I still kind of have fat girl insecurities and find myself thinking, "WTF am I doing here with this hot guy?"
Also, I love you, Christin. Just so you know. And not only for your fashion choices.

I get this. it gets easier though. When I lost all my weight and started dating it was just so odd and I judged myself when I realized no one cared.

I too have never really been on a date. And now people TEXT before they go out. Which is easier, but then the thought of seeing a person in live human form means both talking and looking at each other is kind of new, so it's even more intimidating.

listen guys, i'm going to have to politely insist that the circle jerk compliments train keeps on chugging, at least for a while. for me, anyway, participating in an OOTD makes me feel a little exposed and vulnerable, like a newborn moose wobbling around on my ridiculous new legs. the positive reinforcement is VERY motivating!
