On a sad note, I started my morning with a clogged toilet that H conveniently left behind for me. On a really sad note, I didn't have a plunger, so I had to stand in line at Walmart with one while everyone around me had flowers, cards, balloons, and chocolate.
I feel like a loser.
Oh, and vinegar and boiling water will not unclog a toilet, just FYI.
This seriously made me laugh out loud, sorry. Hopefully tonight will be better.

I'm not either. For a while I was wondering if I was the only female in a relationship in the country who doesn't care about Valentine's Day.
I told H not to do anything for me for VDay, so when he gets home I'll see if he followed my directions.

ETA: H came home from work with a Wendy's Frosty for me. Not my usual medium, but a large one. Best Valentine's Day gift ever!
For several years, he has been wanting a horse head to put on his nightstand. Rolling eyes. I saw this one in the restoration hardware catalogue and ordered it a few weeks ago:
I should have checked the measurements because it is the size of AN ACTUAL HORSE'S HEAD. DH laughed so hard when he opened it. Anyway, we are returning it and getting this one:
...which we have seen in real life and know is not the size of AN ACTUAL HORSE'S HEAD. And the thing is, when I ordered the first head I almost ordered the second one instead. Should have gone with my gut on that one.
That is hilarious! I would have loved to see the look on his face when he opened it.

I didn't get H anything besides his favorite candy. He ended up staying home and therefore delayed the craft B and I are making him. Hopefully I can get it done tomorrow.
We took B with us to Hensley's for dinner tonight and then to Braums for dessert, I honestly don't miss the couples only dinner like I thought I would.
Boymom, I totally would have picked out a yummy treat for myself.

BoyMom - no names yet. H wants to wait until he's back from deployment to pick names, but I'll be around 30 weeks at that point...not sure I want to wait that long to start thinking about names.
Puppy - thanks for explaining the horse's head thing. That would freak me out every morning, especially if the one that was the size of an actual horse's head had stuck around. That made me laugh.
