the worst TIP, I think I've ever seen.
Re: the worst TIP, I think I've ever seen.
Wow, thats pretty bad. I mean, how do they bounce back after that?
Just another reason for people to just use a local florist.
And with that, as much as I like the fun involved with Valentine's Day, I think its a damn shame just how much people get ripped off for flowers on this day, ya know?
Crazy.
this sums it up:

One unhappy customer told us his Valentine's Day flower order hadn't arrived, and when he complained he got an email explaining that, "Due to unexpected high volume, your order has been rescheduled for February 15th." Unexpected? It's *** Valentine's Day, FTD, the biggest day of the year for florists. Blame the weather, blame some computer error, or throw your supplier under the bus, but I'm sorry, unexpected demand is not going to cut it.
I accidentally posted this in the MarriedLife thread:
Moral to the story: Use a local florist to send flowers to the recipient. Contact one in the same town to deliver in the same town.
(the best florist I've found is a little hole in the wall outfit about 3 miles from here. And their prices are reasonable, too. I got a dish garden from them 3 years ago for $20...and the dish garden is still going strong)
This and this and this!!!!
Why anyone thinks they are going to get a better deal, better product or better service by using a third party internet/800 number is beyond me. Build relationships with actual bricks and mortar stores and the people inside them!
for what it's worth...FTD uses local florists...the flowers my mother got came from down the street not from another state.
I didn't think I would get a better product...I actually always use local florists and this was the first time I used FTD. I won't ever do it again.
