Re: Friday Eve Randoms
Agreed. Hopefully Cedar settles in soon.
Yes. I would like one Trader Joe's, please. TJs coming to GR is a recurring joke for us. "Oh, available retail space. Maybe a Trader Joe's could move in." Trader Joe's Tart d' Alsace needs to be back in my life. I'm sure I could make it, but it wouldn't be the same.
Me too!
I think we've decided to keep Henry in his crib as long as possible, so I am not planning on using it for #2. Ikea crib it is!
I've never been to a Trader Joe's before but I hear fabulous things from you girls that have been there.
Cabela's is mecca for the outdoor lifestyle. Camping, hunting, fishing ect. I know people that have set up saving accounts to to shop there. Once they have enough they will go and spend $500-600 there! " The Grandville store, which is expected to employ about 200 full- and part-time employees, will also feature a boat shop, gun library, bargain cave and fudge shop. " This is then one that was originally going to be built in Walker but the Walker govt couldn't get everything together. They are going to build it where the old X-Rite build was. I guess that whole area is being built up as plans for a Target are in place too.
me 3. I have the Ikea catalog. The last thing I want to get for SS bedroom is there, a new comforter set.
What a tough situation for you. So kind of you to care for Cedar, she is lucky to have you.
I wonder if they will have hunter safety? I really want to take up turkey hunting with my dad but don't want to be the 30 something year old lady in a room full of 12 year old boys in the basement of some church. Ick.
LOL. I don't know but if you end up in the church basement call me and I'll go with you.
We've decided to buy Tennyson a big boy furniture set, and have the new baby use his crib. Maybe I'll look at Ikea for T's new furniture.
He'll be 2 yrs and 9 months when we move him to a bed. (Maybe slightly younger.). I can't justify buying another crib (as much as I want to!) for something I have no idea what to do with when they both grow out of it. The teeth marks make it impossible to sell. Do I throw it away? Ugh, that seems so wasteful. What do people do with their old cribs?
Des and Mol, W&H are 2 years, 6 months apart. Good spacing. Just for reassurance, she did great w/ the bed transition at that time.
I plan to convert our crib to a bench when Henry's done. I know some folks keep it for grandbabies. But knowing how little I wanted our babies in 30+ year old cribs, I wouldn't consider it.
Pinterest has some great ideas for repurposing cribs!
I don't want Whole Paycheck but yes please to TJ's and REI!
First of all, excellent use of "borked"! That's one of my favorite political terms and I think most of our generation is now too young to use it.
I hope Cedar settles in nicely and you and Jared are saints for taking her in.
