Re: monday randoms
My wildest dreams came true last night. We were out to eat at a fancy Italian place in St. Paul after my choir concert and my risotto was served in a bowl made out of CRUSTY PARMESAN CHEESE. I don't think there is much in this world I love more than crusty parmesan. It was SO SO SO SO SO good.
If you're ever in downtown St. Paul and need a great restaurant to go to check out Pazzaluna. Holy smokes. So good.
I have a sore throat. I am staying at work for another hour or so then going to pick Ian up at my parents'. He had the day off and I didn't. Today is a holiday for all the cities and towns in Rhode Island, but not for the state. That meant the courts were open, so I had to work.
Fran has been on trips that were much longer than the one he's on now, but it feels like he's been gone forever. I was so lonely for him this weekend I physically ached.

I'm going to take my time getting him, but I don't want to get there too late because then we have an hour drive home from their house. Also, my father is working this afternoon and I don't my mother to be on the hook alone for too long -- she had foot surgery last month and is dealing with tendinitis in her arm.
I'm at work but happy to be here. Flameful I guess because E has off from school. But yeah, I'm done entertaining. He had an attitude from the minute he got up this morning. And while our town goes back to school wednesday, the towns his dance and music classes are in have off all week so that means we have nothing to do on tues/thurs. That should be fun.
I don't know WTF I was thinking going to bed at almost 2a last night. My eyes are closing. I saw a chaise lounge at Marshalls I think I'm going to buy for work. Then I can sleep between customers.
I'm tired of dieting and exercise.
I'm bored of watching arguments about lowering the flags in NJ for Whitney. She's dead. It's over. Christie does what he wants. Why even bother to argue. I joined Garden State Equality to volunteer because that douchebag vetoed the Marriage Equality bill like he screamed he would. I care about that more than flags for Whitney.

I have been completely bombarded with pregnant women everywhere for the last two weeks. Crazy. But cool and exciting.I finally had a period last week, so I restarted my pills last night, but a small part of me wanted to just skip them and actually try to get pregnant. I know better though, I want to wait until summer when I'm good and ready, and have been on prenatals for a while.
So weird to talk about pregnancy.
I leave for Puerto Rico in 2 days. 2 motherfoffing days! When I planned the trip we were 90 days out and it felt like it would never happen. I have so much cool stuff planned for PR, including kayaking out to an island where wild monkeys live. You cannot go onto the island, but you can swim around a little, and take pics of them. And you can snorkle over a shipwreck where an octopus lives. Creepy!
P noticed today that we aren't sitting next to each other on the flight down and was sad. I really like flying alone, so I was kind of secretly happy. I like to just listen to music and day dream.
Last night we went over to the Mouse house for pizza. Bug was talking about how much she liked cinnamon, so I asked her in my most innocent voice: "Have you ever tried eating a whole tablespoon at once?"
Yeah, long story short, I goaded a sweet 12-year-old girl into taking the cinnamon challenge. Sorry about your curtains, Mouse. I may be a terrible person.
