Re: Tuesday OOTD
some comments, i know i will miss some people, but notably i liked SB's accessories, and i can't wait until i can buy necklaces with reckless abandon without worrying about them getting ripped from my neck on the third wearing.
nov-definitely not icky! you look polished.
Kristen looks phenomenal.
winged-very cute dress! you're rocking the stripes
i really like buddha's jewelry. i'm a sucker for green!
thanks for the comments! i acknowledge that my outfit is all over the place. i bet when i get home derek will laugh at me.
I feel meh today, and hated eerything in my closet. But I kind of hate everything today anyways. I fear I may punch a co-worker. No one is safe.
Top: ON. Pants: Talbots. Shoes: Payless. Necklace: Husband. Earrings and bracelet by me.
Happy Tuesday! This is the first time I've worn this shirt, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The bottom is a brown pencil skirt and brown tights. The top is greener than it's coming out in the pic. So, I feel tree-like. Anyway.
I think this top/skirt combo makes me look larger than I am. So I tried tucking, but I don't know if that's any better. Thoughts?
I think tucking gives you more shape.
I'm warming up my snapping fingers for our epic tucked vs untucked dance off battle.
I've only looked at page 2 so far. Christin, phenomenal. I love those shoes. I love YOU!
Okla, I prefer untucked. Tucked gives you some shape, but also makes you look straight out of Sue Ellen from Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead's school uniform design collection.
Me, trying to mix up the poses and find a place to take a picture with my webcam that isn't a backlit mess.
Sweater: Gap, a couple of years ago. I bought it when I was shopping with Bethie!
Necklace: Forever 21
Skirt: Forever 21
Tights: L'eggs. Love them.
Shoes: Payless. I've had them for years and they're the perfect keep-at-work pumps for work.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Yeah, this makes me want to tuck. I loved that shiiit.
Aw everyone looks good today!
Top - Macy's; Pants - ON; Shoes - No clue.
SB: Cool necklace!
Nov: You always look fantastic. Miles is making me laugh. We watched The Purple Rose of Cairo this weekend and that's all I can think of when I see that hat.
Miller: I love the polka dot shirt. I want one.
Mashed: You look great, but I share your 3/4 sleeve frustration. I'm constantly wondering if people know it's supposed to be 3/4 sleeve or if they just think I have gorilla arms. Or if it's even supposed to be 3/4 sleeve or maybe I DO just have gorilla arms.
HT: You look great in red!
KB: Fabulous as usual. I love your hair curly.
Winged: Cute dress! I love the bow.
Buddha: That necklace is awesome. Zane has good taste.
Wendy: Sweet score with those shoes!
Katie: I can see the red dots! I love the pattern. I think no scarf. And I agree with Winged about the boots. I'd wear black boots.
Lucy: Speaking of boots, love yours.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
You all look great!
Katie, I LOVE those boots. LOVE. Not sure what the rest of the coloring though, although it is hard to tell coloring on a lot of these outfits, but I really, really like them.
KB - your bewbies look nice.
I just bought a cute new dress, and when it comes in I may participate in an OOTD,
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
SB - I'm jealous you can wear capris in February. KB - That dress is fantastic. Nov - Not icky. Buddha - I want that necklace. Christin - Love it all. I want red shoes now. Okla - Untucked. Katie - Love the top and skirt, but not crazy about the boots. Mashed - I think you pull off 3/4 sleeves very well.
I know I'm forgetting more...
Normally I think it's silly when people declare that their board has the best OOTD threads, but I think we win by a longshot because we include kids. Allison's batman ensemble the other day is proof.
Here's me today:
And here's me yesterday when I was supposed to be shopping for a new washing machine. Marshalls doesn't carry them, FYI.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum, Cali. You look like you've lost an entire buttload!
(That was for HT.)
But seriously, that red top looks fantastic on you.
Did you actually expect Marshalls to sell washing machines, though? Is this some weird Portland thing?
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
KB -- that dress looks fantastic on you. When I was out yesterday, I kept gravitating toward sweater dresses because they look so great on you. Now I'm going to add wrap dresses to that list. The problem I run into with wrap stuff is with my boobs. I have to wear a cami underneath or end up showing an inappropriate amount of cleavage.
Okla -- I really like your shirt! Honestly, it looks great both tucked and untucked. I think I prefer untucked just a smidge more.
Garlictits -- what a pretty sweater!

Whatever. Now I'm glad I didn't jump in and agree with you over the weekend that "preggies" is offensive to humanity.
Maybe if you had, I wouldn't feel the need to lash out just to get some attention.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
