I've fixed my Droid X phone since it was having issues this last night/this morning. I am eligible for an upgrade starting next month. I've had the Droid X for 2 years and have wanted an Iphone but now am not so sure. I do love Google. So now I am torn as to what I want.
What phone do you have and would you recommend it?
Re: Phone thoughts..
I just upgraded my phone a few months ago from a POS old Blackberry to the Samsung Galaxy SII. I love it so far, it's really easy to use and had everything I was looking for in a phone and more. I have also always had really good experience with Samsung products. My only complaint is that it is a little bit big.
I was originally looking into an iPhone but everyone I know who has one has a lot of problems with dropping calls/bad reception, so I decided against it.
I just got my Iphone last week. It's a pain in the butt to start off, but after you learn it, it's pretty easy. Nate loves his, so he talked me into getting one. It's a good size too. All the Droids I was looking at seemed HUGE.
As far as dropping calls and whatnot, I think that would depend on your provider, not the type of phone you have, IMO.
Good luck!
I also have an Iphone, and love it. I don't really have issues with dropped calls. I do live in east gish, so there are times where I don't have the best reception, but I had that with other phones at my house too. To me it comes down to provider and not necessarily phone as well.
Good luck on whatever you decide.
