I would keep an eye on the reports as you get closer. Wood TV said one model said the snow would arrive by 6 pm and the other said midnight.  I would be a little leery of leaving tonight if you think you can get home before 8 or 9 pm.

I'm confused by what you mean here.  I'm reading this to mean you would be reluctant to leave tonight if I can get home by 8 or 9 p.m.  But from the context, it sounds more like you would recommend leaving if I can get home before 9.

    Could you clarify?

L is also convinced that roads will be worse this evening than tomorrow afternoon and thinks it's better for me to stay, but looking at the hourly forecast, it looks like GR is changing from rain to snow right around when I'd be passing through, so I think I would miss the bulk of the badness.

Question: If it wasn't for the weather, would you be conflicted?  You've had a rough week and I'm guessing your heart wants to get home sooner rather than later.  Would you skip the class tomorrow even if a storm wasn't forecasted?

I think if missing the class isn't a big deal, that I would come home tonight.  You might hit bad weather, you might not.  From the predictions, it looks like tonight will be worse than tomorrow afternoon though.

Sorry about that....if you can't get home by 8 or 9pm.

I hate being out in the open at my work and everyone seeing my screen. I hit sent when I heard someone coming in the office.

If it weren't for the weather, I would unquestionably stay and attend class tomorrow.  It didn't even occur to me to potentially skip until I found out about the weather this morning.

No worries.  Thanks for the clarification!
