  Agreed-depends. He has been to two of my 5K races but they were b/c we were meeting up with some friends afterwards.

We've only been running for about 18 mos., but did 12 races last year and one so far this year - we usually plan them together.  He got hurt and couldn't do the November and December races, but he came with me.  I can't imagine him not coming and vice versa, but this may change with time and frequency.

  This is me too. H and I try to pick races we both want to do.

  DH comes with me to one or two cyclocross races a year and races. He didn't last year b/c he was injured, but he drove me to my weekend of races that was 4 hours away and cheered me on. He couldn't ride anyway that weekend b/c he just got injured.

  He doesn't come to any of my mountain bike races. He gets bored. He'd rather be riding. I don't blame him. You only get to see the person once every 30-45 minutes. It is boring.

  He comes to most and brings DD to cheer.  Or some he runs with me and we have a babysitter at home.  He's missed a handful of smaller races that I didn't mind if he wasn't there (our local road runners club has some awesome races, but I don't see much need to have a cheering squad).  DD and I also go to all of his except the smaller local ones that he doesn't need us there for.

  Of course, now that he's running more races, he's there because he's running too!

   

  This. DH works a wacky schedule so it really depends.
