Open for discussion: are the boots terrible with this? I normally wear it with bare legs and nude pumps, but it's too cold for that today. I've worn it this way to go out for date night, but not to work. Not sure how I feel about it. Your opinions will probably vary depending on how strongly you feel about black and navy together.

Also, I tried to get a booty shot, but I had no idea what to do with my arms:

Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
I need to try to remember to smile, I look miserable.
tank and cardigan from Target, dress from TJ Maxx ($10 on clearance).
ETA necklace from Christin
I don't love the boots, Lindsay.
I do love that dress mashed.
Jacket - loft, shirt - AT, tank/khakis - target, shoes - Charlotte Russe
I usually feel the opposite is true, but thank you. Ootd is good for me.
also, I really need a haircut. Growing it out is so awkward.
Lindsay I love your dress and I think it looks fine with the boots.
Mashed you look great today- love the outfit. I'm loving polka dots for spring.
Wendy you look great and put together as always.
Im not living my outfit today and I don't want to post until someone tells me how to size the picture from my phone- so please help
Lindsay, I love that dress on you! Vavavoom! I think I prefer bare legs and pumps with it, but the boots do work. Mashed, I really like that dress. Wendy, very cute and flattering cuts.
Sweater and pants: Ann Taylor; Cami: BR; Boots: Uggs (now wearing DKNY black patent pumps).
Mashed, I love the dress!!
Linds, I think I prefer without boots. The length is a little wonky for boot wear.
Dress, some random brand from Macy's. It's one of my favorite outfits.
Mashed - love that dress! I want it.
Wendy - you look so put together today, your jean jacket is really cute.
Nov - the sleeves on your sweater are really nice. I like.
I overslept an hour so I just grabbed something easy.
Shoes are J. Crew, everything else is Gap.
we all fall down sometimes
brass and ballet flats
I don't care what I look like today.
False. You're rocking the great sweaters this week.
Sb, I think today is one of my favorite outfits on you. Apparently my style is slobbySB (since you said this was just grabbing something quick, not that you're actually a slob)
Nov, I love the sweater.
The Hezzerlah girls aren't feeling that great today, I think I got the pukey bug LoLo had the other day. I was up all night last night throwing up my face.
That is my new scarf though, I love it! I picked it up at Marshall's the other day. I'm going to need an Okla refresher course on tying scarfs though. LoLo looks ridiculous, she has her onesie buttoned on the outside of her pants and she's wearing leg warmers. I love her.
oh hezz. feel better!
lolo looks like she's taking a page from the ali-cat guide to hair and fashion today.
Ouch, Hezz, I'm sorry you're sick. Puking is the worst.
ON sweater, Target dress. I'm frumpy and terrible and I don't care b/c it's comfortable.
Updated September 2012.
Here is mine. Shirt is from a local shop. Jeans from Old Navy. Boots from SmartBargains.I feel like this blouse works better in theory than in practice. I just feel kind of frumpy.
and my hair was already a frizzy mess by the time I got to work (seriously, it's rained for two solid weeks) so I pulled it back in a messy braided pony. Do we like this? Is it too much?
Thumbs up from me Lindsay. That is a neat dress.
Love the polka dots, Mashed!
Wendy, I'm jealous at how well you wear jackets. I can't seem to pull them off.
Nov, that sweater looks so comfy, but still sophisticated. You always pull things off so effortlessly.
That color is stunning on your Kristen!
Essbee, I really like the color blocking kinda look you have going with the top/shoe and pants/cardigan pairing.
pff, HT. "I don't care what I look like, so I just threw on this very cute and fashionable jacket, so whatever."
Aw, poor Hezz and Lauren. Your scarf is real cute.
LOVE it, Lucy. So cute.
I am a sicky mcsickerson today worse than yesterday, but I still dragged my sorry butt to work. I'm going to go take a ootd photo and blow my nose for the zillionth time. uno momento.
I think the outfit is adorable and not at all frumpy Buddha.
I apparently neglected to mention KB earlier, because it goes without saying. Will you please shop for me?
Lindsay, I don't mind black and navy together but I feel that a lighter boot would help. So much dark makes it kind of bottom heavy.
Mashed, you're an adorable miserable. I love that cardigan and the dress is really cute.
Wendy, I love how bright you always are.
KB, lovely as always
Lindsay- I love the dress, but I think the boots are a bit heavy for it. I agree with Hezz-- hemmed to the knee, it'd be perfect.
Mashed- I love that dress! I want it. Everything looks fabulous together.
Wendy- I'm jealous because I can never find khakis that don't make me look frumpy and there you are, making them work. And I love your shoes.
Nov- I love that sweater! The color works on you.
Kristen- Nice color on the dress!
SB- LOVE that goldy-mustardy shirt.
HT- Not caring works for you because I love the whole ensemble
Hezz- I like your scarf! And your sickie face is adorable
Lucy- I like the pattern on your dress! I like the cut of it, too, from what I can see. Empire waist?
Me:
Cardigan- Same as yesterday
Top- Some Macy's brand. Alfani?
Skirt- F21
Shoes- Same old under-desk pumps
I love this shirt because it emphasizes my rack and the ruching disguises lumpiness.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.

buddha, not frumpy you look cute and I like your hair up too.
moo, that shirt is great for your rack.
Moo, I love the color combo of your shirt and cardigan.
Buddha, your hair is cute pulled back, and I like your top.
Shirt is Gap, pants are Ricki's. I know you guys prefer my hair down, and so do I, but I'm trying to not wash my hair every day, and I HATE wearing second day hair down, it makes me feel dirty. I gave my bangs a quick rinse today so I could have some hair around my face to cover my sickiness.
Also, I painted my nails the night before last with a light pink and then put some random silver stripes on there.
If i am remembering correctly, most of my clothes today came secondhand or from consignment. jacket (mossimo) i got at plato's closet (which i haven't worn for a lonnng time, maybe my post baby boobs are too much for it), shirt from tjmaxx or something, jeans are calvin klein from a consignment place.
