Repeat from last week, I just love this dress. Banana everything.

    image Ready to rumble.
  • Ooh, KB. That dress looks so great on you!
    image
  • KB you have been inspiring me to do more dresses. Of course, I take comfort in having months and months before I have to get all of them.
  • I look and feel like crap, so here's Jane:

I think I am down to repeats now with my limited wardrobe at the apartment. SO no pic for you.

Wendy- is that beading at the top of your shirt?

Nov- love your smirk today. I love dotted patterns too.

    Delilah- fab sweater

Hezz- your look says "AMURRICAH! FUKC YEAH!"

LHC_ I love that blue on you and the shoes are cute. Sorry they are painful

mashed- I think that top is flattering and I really like the pattern. I think it's just more billowy because of your big pants. WIth slimmer cut pants, it would not be as obvious I dont think.

    SB- I'm stealing your shoes

moo- I love your color combos. You take a lot of risks but I think it always turns out fun. I need to mix more solids.

ribth- you look adorable. How far along are you again?

    garlic- love the sweater

    cali- cuuuute jewelry and boots

No heading, more of a ribbon detail.

  • Lurker wants to play!  I have a fashion question.  I just bought this sweater-dress at Ann Taylor Factory.  I know that it is technically a dress, and I plan on wearing it that way on weekends, hopefully with thick black tights.  My office is too conservative to do that during the week, but I felt like a long sweater after the winter storm we got last night. Does this sweater dress not work with pants for the office? (pants are Limited).  What does RE think?

  • Kate:

Top - Carter's (her 'pwinces cown' shirt)

    Bottoms - target

    Toothbrush - Target

Bruise on forehead - wood floor

    Wrinkled Top - Old Navy

    Cardigan - Target

    Pants - BR

Damn, I should have ironed my shirt this morning.

  • Minne, pants absolutely work. But to balance out the fullness of the top, maybe pair them with a more slim fit leg?
  • Minnie, I think the dress works fine with the pants. For me personally, I think it would be too short, even with tights. You are cute.

That pic of Jane makes me realize how long it's been since audrey changed her siggy.

I love your top miller, even wrinkled.

I think it would better accentuate your waistline if you were wearing some sort of belt. It's a nice sweater, just doesn't give you a lot of shape.

  • Minnie -- in my extremely fashionable opinion, I think it looks good with pants but the pants should be slimmer.  I would even consider pairing them with leggings and boots.

  • Oh and because I realize OOTD is about giving as well as receiving (that's what she said), here are my comments on your outfits:

Wendy- I appreciate your Limited love- I love a lot of your consistent Limited purchases.  I likes ya style!

Nov- that is a really pretty tank/shirt- I want to throw Hezz's necklace on your shirt to make it stand out even more!

Hezz- as just mentioned, your necklace is awesome.

mashed- in case anyone hasn't mentioned it, the top does look good, lol

SB- I always love your jewelry, it always works so well together

LHC- the outfit is perfect for kicking some teacher ass today

moo- I'm really liking the yellow skirt!

ribth- LOVE that dress.  I can't always wear patterns, you are lucky!

    garlic- love the sweater color

cali- love the necklace, and those jeans look especially slimming!

  • Thanks for the feedback!  And you are absolutely right- slimmer pants would work better.  I have the calfs of a strong squat Danish-woman (thanks mom and grandma!), so I've always shied away from checking out slim pants.  In this case, it could work.  And I agree, a belt would really help.  I don't know if I will actually ever wear it with tights alone, either.  I'm short (5' 3"), but perhaps I'll leave the mini skirts to the teens.

ETA: Thank you Winged  :)   And also, I forgot to mention KB- there should just be a perma-hot stamp made to describe every one of her outfits.

  • My hair looks funny. I think it's because there is a mirror behind me.

  • You look very cute today lisa.
  • Ribth - you are so freakin' cute, I can't take it.  I love the fancy outfit and I really like today's top.

Garlic:  love the color of the cardigan and the boots are great.

Cali: I don't think I've seen you in tall boots before, have I?  You look lovely and thin!

KB:  You're gorgeous.  I love that dress.

Jane: OMG so big!  She's so cute.

Minne:  I like the sweater/dress thing a lot.  You're real purty. I concur on a more fitted pant.  I would probably do this with leggings/riding boots and a belt at the waist on the weekend.

EDIT:  Oh God, I forgot two -

Miller - I feel like I wear an outfit similar to that every other day, so I love it.  Cute and comfy.

Lisa - you look great and I like the necklace.  I'm so digging the hair.

This and also (this may be just that colors are wonky on y phone) its a little monochromatic for me. I would go with a different color pants.

this is what you wear after a night of dealing with monsters. It is all target all the time up in here. Horizontal stripes..probably not for me. Too bad!
