  • oh you made that dress SB! nice pleat work! i like the color contrast (and i love red), and the chevron pattern is fun~

mashed i really like that outfit! eta: particularly the color with your complexion. and you are the incredible shrinking lady. you look very slim today

    image
  • SB, I'm so impressed that you can sew.  Cute dress!  Mashed, you look really thin today!

    image

Boring today.  It's rainy and nasty and I feel like crap (I'm not pregnant and I'm not going through menopause, as it turns out).  Sweater and tank - BR; Pants - ATL

  • So, people in this thread have sig codes and aren't sharing.

    I'm making a list, people.

    image
  • SB, I'm quite impressed with your dress. It's adorable!

Mashed, I'm really digging your sweater.

Nov - if that's what crap looks like, you can sign me right up. I'm sorry you're not going through the change. ;)

     This is me today:

     image

    Tank - target

    Cardigan - sister's closet

    Skirt - Maurice's

  • I finally worked up the courage to try skinny jeans, so we'll see.

Jeans: Old Navy cheapos so I don't feel guilty if I decide I hate them

shirt: Target. It looks like a plain black tunic from the front, but I love the back.

shoes: charcoal kitten heels from a local place. They're one of my favorite pairs.

Necklace: a gift from my brother (I took the pic before I put the necklace on, so just imagine it there)

  • You put those jeans directly into your rotation and keep them there, Buddha!
  • SB: the dress is wonderful. I can't believe you made it.

Mashed: I love the color combination but agree that it would benefit from pants that fit. The pants being so big makes it much less polished.

Wendy: your outfit is cute and all, but I'm more impressed with your calves

Butterfly dress from ON, Target cardigan and boots.  Boring today.

Also I used a curling iron on my hair this morning, which I never do.  I feel like Verona.  I'm sure it's going to fall flat in about ten minutes.

  • I'm not dressed yet so I'll just comment. Looking at OOTD pics helps inspire my clothing choices. Wendy - keep the skirt forever. Buddha same goes for you and the jeans. Lucy I like the curls. SB love the chevron. I'm too chicken to sew anything other than dumpy bags. Mashed you look great.

  • I'm not sure about the cancer or the spiders. I think it's wait and see for those. If I'm absent one day, you'll know why.

  • LHC, i can't remember for sure, i think it was from a Papaya, i bought it about 5 years ago in NY.

Sweater and tank ON, skirt Mandees from a million years ago. Shoes are under-desk pumps. I got those shoes I ordered from ModCloth yesterday but it's naaaaasty today so there's no way I was going to wear them.

  • I have an OOTD tale of woe.

Yesterday I actually had to wear a suit for work, so I blew my hair out in the morning, and it was the prettiest hair in all the land.  But then it was raining, so by the time I got to work my hard work had been wasted.

    image

It was raining again on the way home, so by yesterday evening I looked like George Washington (no picture available).

Today was a no-wash day, and we had to get to daycare early to transfer all of James's stuff to the toddler room, so I just said F it.

  • Buddha, keep the jeans. They look great.

Here I am. Nothing too exciting, you've seen the grey/black stripe and the red sweater paired with other things. These black pants are new, though. And a size 6. I'm pumped.

    image

  • SB - Jealous of your mad sewing skills.  Love that dress.

Mashed - I love the colors you have on today.  Very pretty.

    Nov - Like the green.

Wendy - I like the shape of that skirt.

Buddha - You rock skinny jeans and I really love the back of that top.

LHC - Your hair is amazing.

Katie - Surprise robot.  Love it.

KB - You rock dresses around here like no other.  Another winner today!

Moo - Even if that skirt is a million years old, it looks great.

HT - You're always so thuper theriouth in your pictures.  I'm sorry the weather ruined your hard work yesterday.

Okla - I like the outfit and your new skinny pants.  That necklace looks fun too.

    image
  • Moo, I love the color of that sweater, but I don't know that I love it with that skirt. The skirt doesn't seem to fit you well.

Okla, you pull outfits together so nicely. It's so polished but still comfy.
