Need movie recs
that are smart and quirky. Perhaps some indies that are out there that are worthwhile?
Any suggestions? They don't necessarily have to be indies. Someone suggested Lars and the Real Girl so that's on the list.

The first movie that came to mind was Brick. It's like a 30s-ish detective noir film but set among high school students. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in it.
I also liked Win Win.I have been rewatching some old favorites:
