    Training for: Baltimore 10-Miler in June 2012

    Favorite event so far:  The Baltimore Half Marathon.  The spectators are the best - I'm obsessed with the "Eye of the Tiger" guy who's at Mile 11 every year.

    Motivation: To combat my sluggish metabolism and feel sassy in general. 

    If looking to lose, how much: About 10 lbs.

    Favorite article of workout gear: My bike, my Garmin and anything Under Armour :)

  • Favorite healthy snack:  string cheese or raw veggies

    Training for:  I'm registered for two centuries this summer

    Favorite event so far:  Copper Triangle (78 miles w/ 6,000 feet elevation gain) or Venus de Miles (100 miles, all women)

    Motivation:  Family history of heart disease, and I don't want my body to look like the old, naked people at the Y.

    If looking to lose, how much:  7 down, 20 (or so) to go

    Favorite article of workout gear:  aside from my Giant OCR C2 road bike, I love my Terry bike shorts

  • Favorite healthy snack: I love fat free cottage cheese, cuties, honey crisp apples, and celery with a little peanut butter.

    Training for: Half Marathon in June

    Favorite event so far: 5k is all I have done - although I do have a 7k coming up in 2 weeks.

    Motivation: To be healthy for myself and my family

    If looking to lose, how much: Between 30-40 lbs (already lost 46).

    Favorite article of workout gear: I use my iphone for Pandora and the Nike app that tracks your distance and speed.

    Favorite exercise: riding my bike (as if anyone had to guess), riding horses

    Training for: nothing, ask me in 4 weeks after my off season is over

    Favorite event so far: too many mountain bike and cyclocross races. I do 25+/year.

    Motivation: I love riding my bike, and I vowed 15 years ago never to be "fat" again

    If looking to lose, how much: I'm lazy, but I'd love to drop 10 pounds.

    Favorite event so far: I did a nice 5k a few years ago around a lake. I don't do many events...

    Motivation: Slipping every day. Mostly I just want to look good naked.

    If looking to lose, how much: I'm not sure I'll ever get to a point where I'm happy with my weight. Since having DD, it's much more about how it looks on me than the number on the scale. Really, I just want a flat stomach.

    Favorite article of workout gear: Progrid guide running shoes, C9 sports bras

    Training for: half marathon.  For sure the WD at Disney in November.  Hopefully one this summer. 

    Favorite event so far: sprint triathlon.  It was a bet by my SILs and I am proud I followed through with the training and completed it!

    Motivation:  Being active with DH has strengthened us and my overall health improvement. 

    If looking to lose, how much: 6lbs (I have lost 110lbs over the past 19 months)

    Favorite article of workout gear:  a long sleeve cycling jersey I wear to also run in.  I like the pockets in the back. 

    On wishlist:  compression socks

    Motivation: To keep myself healthy. The patients I see at work who are on oxygen and have loads of health problems make me never want to be in that position.

    If looking to lose, how much: None. Just keeping it right around where it is.

    Favorite article of workout gear: Yoga capris. They are comfy and make my butt look good...haha

    Motivation: To be healthy, to be a better example to my son.

    If looking to lose, how much: I'm looking to lose 150lbs total. I've lost 50lbs so far.

    Favorite healthy snack: Frozen greek yogurt and bananas. 

    Favorite exercise: Running and crossfit-style wods.  

    Training for: No race at the moment. Waiting to see if I win the NYC marathon lottery. But my gym convinced me to be in an ad and the photo shoot is in 3.5 weeks. Gulp.

    Favorite event so far: 3M HM. Gorgeous weather, downhill course, local race.

    Motivation: Staying healthy & fit. I want to be able to play and do sports with my boys for a long time.

    If looking to lose, how much: 3-4 pounds. Those same 3-4 darn pounds that hang around b/c I'm not willing to entirely give up alcohol and bowls of sugary cereal. I'm going alcohol- and dulce de leche cheerio-free for the next 3.5 weeks. (see above)

    Favorite article of workout gear: My Garmin.

    On wishlist: I'd love a couple more lulu sports bras. I have only one & it's my fav.

  • Favorite healthy snack:  The combo of a little dark chocolate, dried cherry, and pistachio mixed together.  Yum!

    Favorite exercise:  Cycling

    Training for:  Nothing at the moment, though I may do a super-sprint triathlon later this month.  In a competitive with only me benchmark, I'm really trying to do an unassisted pull up at the moment too.

    Favorite event so far:  I've liked just about all the cycling races I've ever done.  Though not always when I was going through the suffering, but afterwards, I could appreciate the courses and scenery.  Wink

    Motivation:  Fitting into my clothing.  It's a constant struggle. 

    If looking to lose, how much:  10 lbs.  But also important for me is my shape--as seen under my "motivation" my butt sometimes dictates what size I have to wear to not be laughed at, while my legs and waist say otherwise.

    Favorite article of workout gear:  I have a few jerseys that I just love to wear

    On wishlist:  If I were to actually list everything (it is a WISH LIST after all) you'd all think I was a jerk.
